Re: 5/10 2pair meets LAG

(havent read other replys)
my two cents,

3-bet this turn every time, and lead/call the river if a non-ace hits when he caps on fourth street.

Re: 30/60: KK & KK

(havent read other reply's)
Just a reminder to hand 1 imo. Making a rivercall in a big pot can't ever be really bad, where making a wrong fold for one bet can be devastating. Anyone making folds...

Re: KQo going for vi va Showdown UI

(haven't read other reply's)
Although the numbers seem appealing they just hint but actually say nothing about his betting patterns for his play out of position multiway as a non-aggressor...

Re: There IS a god. (NC)

(haven't read other reply's nor the results)
Strongly consider checkraising the turn. Dont see much of a chance that a TAG would see reasons to fastplay this flop with nines, and any pocketpair from...

Re: Call down mode, too weak?

(havent read other reply's)
Since he plays weak hands the same way, but of course aint going anywhere when you force control in this hand, checkcalling (how dreadful it may be) seems like the only...

Re: Being aggressive

(haven't read other reply's)
Questions to answer:

Do i know his play really well?(no ->fold)

Is there even a remote chance he plays an ace this way? (yes -> fold)

Is there even a remote...

Re: Why did I not like folding this?

(haven't read other reply's)
You're true odds would be 3.5:1 or so. Against at least 80% of the players at the tables that wouldn't be a profitable calldown, so i fold against an unknown here as...

Re: More probably misplayed hands.

Hand I.

nothing wrong as it seems? Good to lead out on the turn.

Hand II.

A little doubtful about calling the riverbet when the third diamond hits, but i see good merits for calling here...

Re: Sexy fives or FPS ?

(havent read other replys)
I love this hand. well played on all streets. Nice setup on the turn! aggressive preflop though. You raise fives here 100% of the time?

Re: 98o - Standardish?

sorry if im not getting it. I say checkraise, to drive hands like QJo and Kxo out right? Because calling would get a lot of people holding these hands to stay in for one more sb? And therefor i say...

I usually just peel one here on the flop. JT and are calling two cold anyways, so you're really only protecting yourself from an 8 with a worse kicker.

What do you do different - 3 bet the flop? fold the turn?

[/ QUOTE ]

fold the turn. If CO had folded, i had called the turn and folded to a riverbet ("typical" player doesn't 3-bet...

Re: Two turn checks

[ QUOTE ]
Once I raised and got 3-bet on the turn with KQ on a KxxA board. I called down and he had KT.

I think this is a necessity at some, but even at party relatively rare,...

Re: 3/6 scary board

guess there is REALLY more input needed on the SB's aggressiveness in multiway pots to determine wether a raise on the turn is justified or not. UTG's "weak" call helps you swing it towards a raise...

Re: Two turn checks

How bad is it too fold against a turncr'se here. Imo most LAGS at the party are not going to crse the "PFR-with-an-ace-on-the-flop-he-raised-on-their-bet-and-fired-again-at-the-turn" with a hand your...

Re: Two turn checks

do more people stab at boards like these when the flop gets checked through? Way too drawful for my taste to think i have a fair chance of taking the pot right there at a loose 5/10 party table. Am i...

Re: 10/20 6max: a passive line - 88

Capping this preflop with a guy like UTG in a pot like this wouldn't be a mistake and would give you a better image postflop towards other opponents to see how they play back at you. They define...

Re: TT in trouble?

you'd bet if checked to right? If i had any read as a solid 40-80 player on you i'd crse your valuebetting ass with my king, hoping you can't let go. In that case him betting out would more or less...

Re: Give me a line: 88 10/20
