Re: How to break off with old high school friends?
Whenever someone asks me like this, I think they already kind of know what they want to do, and just want some confirmation that it's "ok" to do it.
Basically, you don't like this guy, you don't...

The Poker Gods smiled on me in this hand
Had just recently lost a couple of tough hands to this guy, including a flopped two pair beat by a river flush, and a pair of aces (AQ) beat by a set of Kings on the river.
This is probably one...

Re: Turned the Straight with A Pair Onboard
The 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif on the river didnt improve his hand, so you should definitely raise, then call if he 3-bets. I'm guessing slowplayed trip kings from him.

Re: a hand for Review in the BB (a little shorthanded)
Slowplay on flop is ok I guess, but you MUST c/r on turn. If he is drawing out his flush you have to make him pay for it. It makes no sense to wait until the river to put the heat on him, you are...

Re: Flopped set on a suited flop: Cap of fold?
I think you made the right play here. With a bet and TWO raises in front of you, you have to assume someone has flopped a flush, unless you are at a table full of loose and aggressive players. At...

Re: KJo on the button with fishy river raise
Good play, I think you take this hand as he probably made a lower two pair, something like K/8 or J/8. Unless he is one of those people who don't lay down pp and he made a set on the river.

Re: AMAZING table, questionable play - more \'calling when the pot is b
Pre-flop is good, I like playing suited connectors against a lot of callers.
I would definitely 3-bet this flop. UTG probably has face cards and it is very likely you are ahead of him at this...
