Re: Question about starting hand selection.
I don't feel like the books cover the subject well enough as it pertains to online low buy-in tourneys. I think they are right on for large buy-in b&m tourneys, but seem to be lacking when it comes...

Am I playing to tight?
Early in low buy-in MTT, at UB. I tend to stick to solid starting hands, particularly from EP. These include JTs-AJs any AQ, AK, 88+, 77 or smaller cheap in multi-way pots same w/ suited connectors...

Re: Question about starting hand selection.
I was hoping to get a general discussion going. Getting bored of reading posts on specific hands and come sweat me here and there. I thought a general discussion would have been nice. You don't have...

Question about starting hand selection.
What are your starting hands? From EP, MP, LP, button, blinds. How much does position or stage of tourney come into play? How do those differ if your table image is LAG or TAG. What hands do you push...

Need some help plugging some leaks
I have been enjoying more success in the later rounds of mtts. Been relying on my reads and playing accordingly. I have been noticing that my early round play needs some tweeking. I have been...

looking for a new site to play mtt\'s
Been playing almost exclusively @ UB. I play mostly MTT & STT. I like that they have such a huge selection of MTTs. I tend to play $10, but sometimes I play $20 & $30 ones. I have ruled out Party &...

Re: WSOP Circuit NO hand
In a tourney, I'm not a huge fan of getting all-in with bottom 2 pair on the flop. I would smooth call and re-raise all-in on a non-threatening turn. In a cash game I will take that action any day.

Re: what\'s my move?
I know this seems like a weak-tight question but I think I botched this hand and am trying to figure out the best way to play it if it comes up again? Some help please.

Re: AA in Stars 55 PL
I like the way you played the hand. The suggestion given by chief is also valid. It is read dependent. Can you put villain on a range of hands or will he raise pre-flop with any 2 if nobody in front...

Re: Speak up or Shut up?
You should definitely speak up regardless of whether or not you are in the hand. It is the obligation of the palyers in the game to uphold the integrity of the game. If a card falls on the floor and...

Re: ESOP £100 PL - can fish get lucky?
I would think that re-buy period reads are only about 75% accurate. With that AJs read being one of the more unreliable ones. People will gamble alot more with hands that they perceive as premium...

Re: Is this correct (Folding KK pre-flop)?????
I disagree with partygirl. This is certainly not an insta-call. The pre-flop action definitelycried out AA. UTG calls and then reraises all-in. Same with UTG+1. These are classic plays at lower...

Re: AK w/ AJ6 flop early in MTT, fold to re-raise
Pre-flop raise here would have helped alot. Pushes out the trash and you don't have to worry about j6o catching you here. Also helps you get a read on your opponent. Only reason to limp w/AK is to...
