Re: Very taboo. What do I do?

[ QUOTE ]
For what it's worth, James McManus in Positively Fifth Street mentions someone doing the same in one of the 2003 (?) WSOP tournaments.

Annie Duke, as a matter of fact.

Re: Turn Line

Bet the turn. Bet the river when the T comes out.

On hand 2, bet the turn. Based on the people, I either fold to a raise (tight player) or call and check/call - check/fold the river based on the...

Re: Made flush on the turn. River puts 4 to the flush.

No, you don't fold. You might find someone here with 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif. Crying call.

Re: strange pokertracker situation

The "Include Preflop Stats in Aggression" checkbox is not checked, correct?

I would run a report off of both machines and compare the two to find the difference.

Re: A hypothetical Axs question, grunch please

1. Check/call with the intention of check/raising the turn.
2. Call with the intention of raising the turn. If it's 2 bets back to me on the flop, I fold.
3. Trying to decide between a...

Re: OMG, I think I\'ve Lost a Ton of Money on Flush Draws

Flush draw is 1.9:1 on the flop if you go to the river, and 4.1:1 on the turn. You have the odds to bet out and call a raise...things get hinky on the turn if your heart doesn't come out.

So,...

Re: KQo vs almost-all-in villain

Looks good to me, although you say he's passive postflop, but he raised whenever he got the chance. What types of hands did you put him on?

Re: KTs TP vs weird river action

[ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't raise the river. He's either bluffing or betting a better hand. I don't think villain is waking up and value betting a worst hand than yours on the river.

Re: My first hand eval: K/K on the button

If you follow your line and raise the river, do you fold to a raise or make a crying call?

For the OP, yeah, when you cap the flop and he comes out betting again, you're likely beat. Call the...

Re: Gimme your critique (Grunch it)

I play this the same way. Sucks that the board paired, and you might have lost to a boat, but I don't see another raise on the river here.

Re: Ace high flush draw on flop...too crazy?

[ QUOTE ]
Only part I dont like is the turn, there's a good chance mp1 will raise and may blow mp3 (and maybe the button) off the park. I might check and see what develops.
