[ QUOTE ]
First hand: Kanter pushes pf with QJs and TW calls with KJs.

Re: Kanter? woopdeedoooo!

I believe Kanter has stated that he cold called the flop intending to raise/steal on the turn. He picked up a flush draw on the turn, raised and decided to call Raymer's push. Even if the call on...

Re: On the agony of being a fan of both Matusow and Raymer.

I compare Mike to Chad Johnson. He says outlandish things to get under people's skin, but even his opponents know it's in good fun. The conerbacks that Johnson plays against actually look forward...

Re: WSOP last night and Sam Farha

My bad on position. Now that I think back on it, I guess he did check the flop and then raise after AA bet. Here's my logic on why it is a correct call.

Set flops about 1 in 7 times. AA has...

Re: WSOP last night and Sam Farha

The implied are are huge with small pairs, even in raised pots. Farha had position and was confident that if he made a set he would stack the guy. He probably also figured he could outplay him post...

Re: Rivered non-nut straight on paired board - 3-bet this?

[ QUOTE ]
Meh. You're beat by too many hands...various boats and a bigger straight. I would play it safe and just call, although I expect you are best here most often.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed.

Re: \"never try to bluff a calling station\"

Maybe it's a fine line, but I think there is a difference between being a calling station and being a player that induces bluffs. In this case what happens if Greg raises the turn? If Devilfish...

Re: anyone see this? DN lays down KK preflop..

[ QUOTE ]

Couldn't he of said something along the lines of "You realize I have kings here", then his opponent would of probably given off some sort of sign of weakness, no?

Re: What does this say for the state of poker?
