Re: It\'s that time....15/30 stats post

it definitely looks like you're folding your big blind way too much.

also, with the bigger blind structure you need to open up a bit more. your vpip will probably be about right if you defend...

Re: Suited aces

at a typical loose-passive party 2/4 game i'd just call with that. it'll make it easier to play when you flop an Ace and you can avoid spewing to hands that limped in front of you that have you...

Re: Why did you checkraise?

[ QUOTE ]
I think call down mode is better. I'm worried about a 4. A Q is also possible.

[/ QUOTE ]

on a board like this he'll have to fold hands with a lot of outs if he was taking a shot...

Re: Anyone know how they do it? Skipping SB on party

regardless of whether or not it would be aprofitable strategy for you to employ, it still costs you money when your oppenents do it.
you're paying more for a fewer number of hands each round.

Re: big pot oesd+fd+overcard spewage?

yeah, the turn is pretty bad.

CO's hand looks like a set here so not only are you definitely behind, but you may be killing your action if you hit a J on the river. If you just call the turn...

Re: QJs against a donkbet on the turn

cool avatar!

I like a call here on the turn. your opponent likely picked up a draw here on the turn and may have a pair to go with it. if you just call he'll likely take a stab at the pot again...

Re: Overcalling with AA

I love gamboooling asian dudes!!! Why did I ever leave Vancouver? It's too bad you couldn't drink in casinos up there.

I'd just call on the river and actually be a little bit scared that someone...

Re: KJs in the monkey house

I'd call. I like playing hands against bad players with position on them.
I don't see much of a reason to 4-bet unless you're afraid of some of the guys behind you and even then I don't think a...

How Badly Am I TILTING? (series of hands)

Main villain in all these hands seems to have my number and I wonder how much it's causing me to spew.

He's 35/13 with an aggression factor around 2 on every street. He raises some weird crap at...

Re: gettin\' tricky w/ it...

I'm not saying that you definitely shouldn't do it at all. Your plan certainly has some merit. It needs to work in the neighborhood of 70% of the time though. It very well may work that % of the...

Re: gettin\' tricky w/ it...

The raise was intended to get a fold out of the SB, not the better. Do you think the SB calls 2 cold w/out a T here?

Re: Stupid call-reraising

nicely done.

the call, reraise here is likely a big draw as most made hands on the flop will be trying to protect. and made hands stronger than yours would've likely raised preflop.

good turn...

Re: Easy fold or Too much in pot 20 40 at borgata

I'm too lazy to count the pot size for you. count the bets and see how often it has to happen that neither of them have an Ace for your call to be profitable. Keep in mind that you're splitting...

Re: Party 10/20 vs a very specific player. Do you alter your play?

calling the turn likely gets the same amount of money in the pot and doesn't cost you a bunch when your passive friend has 99. it' unlikely that he has 99, but it's not worth risking since you're...

something\'s just not right...

Something about this guy's hand just doesn't make sense to me. How about you?

Opponent here is fairly tight and aggressive. Doesn't raise enough preflop though. He's at 23/6 and 2.4 AF on the...

folding the flop is probably best. raising just seems crazy. this guy hadn't raised preflop yet and now he has 3-bet you.

the stat that party displays for your showdown win % is wrong. do not use it. i think the other stats in the stat box (i.e. flops seen % and hands played...) are accurate.

I'm not sure reads are really relavent unless the seats in the hand on the turn and river are ball-crushing rocks or slot machine lags.
