When to move from 1/2 to 3/6?

Since the 3/6 game is still relatively new, I don't think I've seen any posts suggesting appropriate metrics to know when you're ready to move up from 1/2 6-max to 3/6 6-max.

I ask this question...

Re: When should i slow down?

I think my default would have been to call down from turn forward if I hadn't seen UTG play an overpair exactly like this with a 3 flush on the board.

So are you saying just call the turn bet or...

I'm in the first few weeks of a transition to SH and am still getting a handle on my aggression (both pre and post flop).

This table has been crazy aggressive. People have been showing down middle...

Re: Your Top Tips for a 6-Max Newbie

A couple of related question for someone also testing the waters on 6 max.

Are there any "classic" posts that I should be reading? A FAQ?

And what is the best way to handle PT when you play...

Re: Taking a break from Poker, what to do with Money?

First, a question...Why is poker any more or less incompatible with Christianity than sports betting? Is it just the legality issue? It is not unusual for moral things to be illegal and I know that a...

Re: Which two books?

Good place to ask this question would be the Books/Publications forum.

Re: Fast or slow - flopped boat

Although I might have bet this flop, this is a perfect hand for slowplaying, I would think. You've got a monster hand, and there are some draws to 2nd best out there (straights, flushes, sets, and...

Re: Button against 2 Maniacs

Re: flopped set, coordinated board

The raiser had Kd Qc for the straight. Given the generally loose passive nature of this table, he might have even had implied odds (pot was 11BB when he called) to call if the board weren't so...

KK in BB vs. maniac in SB

Not a lot of hands on SB, but he's exhibited classic maniac behavior and a willingness to chase down just about anything in the 25 or so hands I've seen.

He could have a big hand...but he could...
