Re: Great turn gets raised in front of me

Hi,

Since when did Ace-rag-suited become a raising hand?

There are very few flops that you like and loose passive players aren't going any where with any piece of the board and Ace-Rag...

Re: JJJ vs. Passive-Agressive and a Tricky Lag

Hi,

Your ignoring KQ which the PA(really LP) wanted to not cap on the turn afraid to lose you.

The river action makes me want to vomit, But its 2/4 so you have to spend the 4BB to show it...

Hi,

Hi,

Can you explain how the IRS defines "Gambling Professional" then please?

Thanks,

Re: Who FOLDS?

Hi,

What draw? AT? got there. 9T? Got there. You have to start talking about backdoor one card gutshots that pealed on the flop or back door club flush draws. These are unlikely.

I know...

Re: Who FOLDS?

Hi,

SB's call on the flop could very well be a Q or a draw. Your likely to get check-raised on this turn regardless of either, so checking it through is the best idea unless you know SB very...

Re: Interesting Hypothetical?

I may have gotten this wrong.

1) 1 As, 3 Ts, 3 7s, 2 2s = 9 cards out of 45 that make it wrong for A to call the turn.

2) 3 ks, 3qs, 3 5s, 3 4s, 3 3s = 15 cards that make it ~EV for A to call....

Re: Interesting Hypothetical?

Hi,

I must be missing something as this seems to easy.

1) A should bet the pot and B should call since B is losing money on this street and only 11 cards in the deck improve our odds enough...

Re: Live 2/5 Pair + Straight Flush Draw.

Hi,

You said it yourself, you have no fold equity so his last $130 is going into the pot now or on the turn.

So you'd rather it went in the flop since on the turn your could be drawing to...

Re: Misplayed TT

Hi,

Thats VPIP of 38 PFR of 1.3. So he's your text book case for loose passive preflop 2/4 player.

We were discussing whacky inappropriate 3 bets with weak hands by loose passive 2/4...

nm, I'm a retard.... The results got lost.

Hand 1: Checked around and MHIG. Every over card other then a Jack was out. SB is probably kicking himself. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Hand 2: I...

Re: Misplayed TT

From last night from a 38/1.4 player over the course of about 100 hands.

This is just the one I can think of right off the top of my head. I could find *several* of these nonsense 3 bets from...

Re: Misplayed TT

Hi,

There were two EP limpers, which is why there is a good chance our three bettor's outs may be dead and lowering the chances he has a big over pair.

Raising the flop after not capping...

Re: Hand 2 check-raise

Hi,

My VPIP is 20% and my WTSD is a miserly 33%. I do a LOT of folding. If I thought he had a 4 I'd have check/folded the turn.

As to the TT thread, where you reply to me that raising the...

Re: Misplayed TT

Hi,

People's 3 betting raising standards are all over place even for your loose passive 2/4 player. Putting them on a range of 6 hands is incorrect when they 3 bet you. Which is what that...

Re: When to Value bet when to not Value bet?

Hi,

Hand 1 :

Was checked around and I had dodged every over card that hurt me and I drag the pot.

Hand 2 :

I bet, MP3 called, CO delayed a bit and then called. CO and I split the...

Re: When to Value bet when to not Value bet?

Hi,

Then 2/4 has changed a lot in the year since I last played it. As back then nobody was raising a 4 on this flop as they'd wait till the turn to raise the guy with the ace who can't fold.

lol... Nice rebuttal...

So you disgree that your typical 2/4 player would wait till the turn to raise a 4?

I should make a poll, but you and I already know an overwhelming majority of SSHE...

Make up your mind. So only preflop 3 betters have predefined ranges of hands but limpers are playing any random two regardless of position?

This is wrong thinking and is you just...

Re: Hand 2 check-raise

Hi,

I know CO doesn't have a 4 because the 2/4 regulars don't fast play a 4 on the flop. They wait to raise the turn.

So that leaves MP, if he has a 4, Boo hoo I lose the 2BB I would have...

Re: When to Value bet when to not Value bet?

Hi,

If SB three bets the entire field, I could be in trouble. I will call and hope I'm not drawing dead. If he bets into an over card/diamond that doesn't give me a gutshot or two pair I'm...

Re: When to Value bet when to not Value bet?

Hi,

Everyone needs to read *why* I CR'd the turn on hand two. See my post, hand 2 check-raise.

Recap, I'm the BB I can have a 4, I'm 90% certain its a slit pot, getting another ace to fold...
