Re: Better line for flopped bottom 2pair, please!

You're giving the average party player wayyy too much credit. Half of the players at this level will call the 3 bet on the flop with middle pair. Against an average player I'm trying to win the pot...

Re: Two pair on a connected/suited flop

I like to overbet in these spots if the stacks are deeper since clueless opponents will often raise me with garbage aces. In your case, I bet $10-$12 hoping to get raised and jam any non-club turn....

Re: Better line for flopped bottom 2pair, please!

Does the villain have a habit of limping with strong aces in middle position?

I think the only hand you're going to see here that will beat you is A7, 77 or possibly A5. Is the villain capable of...

I like Swolfe's line also, waiting until the turn when I have a single heart crushed is a good idea.

Re: bad fold with KQo in the small blind?

Am I reading this wrong or did you fold for $7.45 more in a $29.45 pot?

I like betting out on the flop here and you made a good sized bet. His call should tell you what you need to know if you've...

i'd complete every time unless the limpers are very weak and predictable players.

It's low limit 6-Max. 90% of the players are weak and predictable. KQs is a huge hand in...

Re: AAxx situation I find difficult.

I think a check raise is better. If he is at all perceptive, he's going to tend to think you have more of a drawing hand than a made hand and will be able to blow you off with a big bet on the turn...

Re: Enough sad downswing posts.. Whats a good upswing for you?

Generally 7-10 buy ins at $100-$200 PLO would be a good upswing day (800-1200 hands).

Yes because I am sure he thought you would fold for 1200 more. Good Work! You earned this beat!!!

Re: How long should I wait before playing again?[tilt, 3 successive be

Wait until you can be happy that you got your money in as a 98.6% favorite and got a caller. Seriously, these kinds of beats are hard to take but they never bother me unless I am playing way outside...

Re: get the [censored] out of here

I love that you minraise and leave yourself with 1200 chips. Can you really believe that he would call or reraise a 2400 TC raise but would not call 3600?. Or are you one of those goofs that always...

Re: So you know there decent and have AA

He called the flop. Do you think he's going to fold the turn getting basically 4:1? He'll only fold here if he's really stupidly weak tight.

Here's my guess...

He had KK and you caught a ten on...

Well Played Sir, Well Played

I liked the way he played it. The bluff call on the turn was the best I have ever seen. I tried to muck my cards before showdown but realised I was playing online.

Party Poker (6 max, 6 handed)...

Re: Runner runner quads beats quads

His raise does not reopen the betting. He'd have to have at least 300 behind here to allow the OP to make a reraise.

Re: Handling reraises preflop (noob question)

Based on the fairly small sample of hands I've played with Dr Cobben, I think the reraise is a fairly likely AAxx. He will pot the flop no matter what. If you think his raise will get it HU or three...

Re: Hypothetical hand T987ss flops bottom 2 pair and str8 draw

Pot the flop, bet 2/3 pot on turn if 6, J, 9 or 8 falls. Bet 1/2 pot on turn for any other card, fold to a reraise on all street against most players. If a 6, J, 9 or 8 falls and you get called on...

Re: PLO $400 Video

You have a lot of leaks.

Here's an example:

You were in the BB, SB minraised to $8

You held 2c 2h 6c Ks

This should have been folded preflop, even for the minraise, as the hand has *no...

Re: Do you have to fold here?

It's a good play if your table has been somewhat aggro. Obvious at a passive table this wouldn't fly. In that case, if the SB was fairly tight, I'd make a small reraise to about $2.00 or so, hoping...
