Re: Massive 5-10 pot (QTo)

This is a disgustingly easy call closing the action. BB is on his last legs so I can't really give him credit for a straight, and while I do suspect that MP4 has you beat, he raised on the turn in a...

Re: Turn Decision

Well, obviously you called down and weren't happy about the result. Without a spectacular read that this person is 100% ABC, I'd be calling down as well and hoping to find AT, 2 diamonds, or to...

Re: Tough spot with two pair

Absolutely hate the preflop call. Raise to isolate or fold and find a better spot.

I think you have to fold this on the turn. Flat call preflop, checks through on the flop then min reraises...

Re: 88 OOP. Weak Fold?

Don't be results oriented. You had only 8:1 odds to draw to that turn 8, and against a pfr and someone raising the pfr, you have no reason to think you're good on the flop.

Re: Raise pocket 9\'s in EP?

The bottom line here people is that you don't want to play mid-pocket pairs against 3 or 4 opponents. My general policy is to limp in EP because I don't often find SS tables where a raise doesn't...

Re: Hand converter... what gives?

Never mind - got it. Find hand in PT, remove Texas, convert.

Thanks all!

Re: 2x 2 pair - how much action?

Both look okay - I'd be afraid to 3-bet passive players in either spot. Hand #1 is close though... that 9 could have given Frank 2-pair (A9, J9, 98).

Re: all in or stop and go?

[ QUOTE ]
The flop comes T52, should I just check here and let him put me AI? Or does that reveal too much about my hand after calling so much of my stack preflop?

Re: How low would you go...

Hmm... time for a little math.

Against a random hand, or even slightly better than random hand, you're about 85% to double up with AA.

15% of the time, you take 3rd and get $250k.
85% of the...

Re: KK against half the table

First of all, 70% equity? How crazy are you assuming these people are?

Secondly, the intention is not to push them out on the flop. I assume they call regardless of whether I push it in before...

Re: KK against half the table

I had about 1100 left after the call.

Here was my dilemma... With the pot already at 7816 and me only having 1100 over the raise, there was no pushing out the 2 callers. Also, I can't see at...

Hand converter... what gives?

Removing "Texas" from the HH does not allow the hand to convert. Either somebody needs to clue the rest of us in to how they are getting the converter to work, or the HUSH guidelines thread needs to...

4 people just CC'ed 2 bets and you're worried they won't call 2 more IF MP3 raises? I'm pumping this.

He's not really that Laggy, at least, not that overaggressive. I could see a 3-bet given the only other people are a poster who checked and the BB, and the raiser could have a wide range...

Re: Incredibly basic and uninteresting hand(5-10)

I do think that you'll see AA a good portion of the time, but I'm not slowing down on 2nd set unless I have a heck of a read or see capped turn / raised river.

Hmmm...you're behind just about all capping hands except something like AK (you said CO was tricky, not a maniac, so I assume a fairly normal range here). I'm not thrilled about what the...

Re: 1/2 - Open ended straight flush draw

Most of the time, just bet this out. On a typical table, you'll have at least a couple passive players who will see a turn with any piece of the board. It also helps disguise the strength of your...
