Re: Underpair with 2 overcards

[ QUOTE ]
This looks pretty standard to me. Bet the turn, fold to a checkraise, and take a free showdown UI. I can't see any other way to play it.

Re: How do you make sure that a PF 3-bettor doesn\'t just have overcard

I'm not raising 44 UTG. I'm raising 88 everytime, 77 sometimes, and very rarely 66. It depends on reads. I can't think of a situation where I'd want to raise 44.

Re: A 99 hand

I need to reiterate this.

On this flop, it is very clear that Fold is better than Call is better than Raise.

We are way behind when we're behind, and we are marginally ahead when we're ahead. ...

Re: AQo - Can you fold this river?

Are you guys more inclined to cap preflop with the BB folding or calling?

Re: A 99 hand

sean: I really wouldn't get into that situation. Raising this flop is the worst of the 3 options.

If I had misclicked and I didn't have the 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif I would probably follow...

Re: A 99 hand

I drop this on the flop against alot of opponents. This is just an ugly hand where good stuff doesn't happen unless you hit one of your two outs. The pot's 2BB's and by calling the flop you get...

AQo - Can you fold this river?

This is a 5/10 hand and I'm posting it here because this is a really close situation, I want to get advice from players that are stronger than me, and because it's a situation that applies across the...

Re: When do you move down/what do you do?

So I've been trying to play through this, and it's staying bad. I'm down to 310BB's in my BR, and I've got no anger control. I dropped 20BB's today and I had to get up because I wanted to hit...

Re: Turn decision with a double gutshot.

Easy flop bet.

If your opponents are nubs, bet the turn. If they're smart postflop, then check the turn.

Newbs will get scared of the 9, Tags know it's a good card for their bottom pair.

Re: Turn decision OOP, A8s in SB.

With your read easy peasy call here. I don't wanna raise and give him a chance to bluff me out or 3-bet with his better hands. We're far too strong to consider folding against this opponent.

I'd...

Re: Ruling Needed, Raise or No Raise?

Player A can re-raise. He was raised by player B. Player A can fold/call/raise.

If player A doesn't re-raise then player B can't raise. He can only call/fold.

If player A does raise, then so...

Re: A3o - Seems simple....

What about calling the turn and folding the river UI? This C/R could be him screwing around, and if MP gets out of there I'll want to see a showdown on a non-heart river.

given the action i would call in the heat of the moment and hate it afterwards, thinking i should have folded the turn.

Its only 22 hands, but if you think CO is raising light here you should 3-bet preflop. Checkraise the flop and go from there. Your hand is good a lot unless CO only bets with top pair or...
