Option two is to call turn and raise river.

Poster called turn and opp checked the river. How could the poster have raised the river? Are we now allowed to raise checks?

Re: River folds - routine?

Raising the flop is my standard play.

Sometimes, against someone with some aggression, I will just call with top pair terrible kicker, especially with position.

I do this with a bad ace and...

The opp had A6o.

I posted this hand not because his/her hand was readable but because I couldn't believe, even at Party, that this would be the hand.

Also, I meant to include that my read on...

Re: 23o--maybe this is why i don\'t win more?

Why is it okay to pay $5 to see 2-3 hands with none on the button when you can pay $7 to see 5-6 hands including one on the button?

Re: Roth IRA

Re: Triple Draw 2nd Draw Smoothcall

I prefer a raise.

Generally, if you and your opp drew cards, then you should raise with any hand with which you plan to stay pat.

You have a good 8. Not only is the raise for value, but it will...

Re: Five Card Stud and Hand Reading

I called, was check-raised by the open 7s, the ace high overcalled the check-raise and I folded for one bet which would have closed the action.

The reads were correct: 9s and 7s vs. pair of aces...

Re: Canadian Health Care

Really?

You believe this?

And, if we have a single-payer system, then there will be no dead Americans?

Is this your argument?
