First NL Post: Calling W/ TP vs Big River Bet

I play limit but was playing around at a 50 NL. Sat down a few hands ago, hit some cards, probably have a fairly aggressive image. No reads on villain.

All comments welcome, river especially:

Re: AA against LAG

[ QUOTE ]
that range is way too narrow. There's 88, 99, 44, KQs etc. Most LAGs would have no qualms calling 3.5 in a big pot with those hands

Re: I\'m turning jason into a LAG. The AQo test?

[ QUOTE ]

My guess is there's at least a 3% margin of error in a sample as small as 2300 hands. Just a guess, based on how I've seen myself portrayed over 1k, 2k, and 5k hand samples.

Re: 10/20 88

I would think you were sweet if laid that down, but I think this is a call at 10/20.

Re: 10/20 KJs

It seems like at 10/20, everyone always thinks everyone else is full of sht (cause they usually are) so you this bluff is unlikely to fold a Q, but I still think it's close enough to be interesting...

Re: I get the river sexy at 30/60 SH

So I assume you think he'd do this with a big ace, trying to push you off your ace?

If so, you gotta call. But I dont like doing it, because it sure looks like your behind to a higher pair.

Re: Blind Battles: Hand #1

Those of you who are suggesting a calldown after the turn card, what range are you putting villain on?

Because calling the turn seems to me the worst of the three options.

TS,

In general, how do you decide between this line and c/raising the flop and continuing?

I like raising the flop. If you are behind, you will hear about it, and it is much cheaper. You also get to check behind on the river a lot if you choose to (I'm not saying that is...

Re: 10/20 on the wrong end of the screwplay - J7o

If this guy would complete with almost anything, then there are a lot more hands that make either a flush or OESD than there are hands that beat you.

So if he'd semibluff here, and I think he...

Re: ONLINE 15. KQo. HOW DID I DO.

Lets say his 3bet range is 99+, AQ+. Is that off?

AA - 6,0
KK - 3,0
QQ - 3,3
JJ - 6,6
TT - 6,6
99 - 6,0
AK - 12,3
AQ - 12,3

Re: Blind battle with a LAG

I dont think you have enough fold equity on that turn to justify the raise. And what fold equity you do have is somewhat offset by the times he 3bets.

We know the call turn/fold river UI line...

Re: 20/40, hands like this are killing me - Q6s blind war

Surf,

If the LAG will likely be c/raising or folding, betting this turn will cost you an avg of 1.6 BB if he doesn't fold. Since folding him wins you 4 BB, you need him to fold about (1.6/4) ~...

HU vs LAG flop c/r after btn steal

LAG is BB. You open on the button, he calls. He knows you do this with a wide range. And he's calling with at least 50% of his hands, maybe more.

Question 1: What is your opening range here?
