Re: Time to start analyzing SH play (not stats)

[ QUOTE ]
I find that more and more I am check/calling the river in situations like this. Any thoughts?

Re: Pokerstars view on datamining/huds

That sounds fine to me, all people want is the knowledge to operate within the rules.

Re: Pokerstars view on datamining/huds

Even that response is 20x clearer than anything I've seen from Party! It's also sounds like they have a more diligent process for deciding what is and isn't over the line.

Hopefully all the TAGs with PE join you on Stars. Enjoy your time there. I'll play there for bonuses, but otherwise I'll stick with Party.

Pokerstars view on datamining/huds

Found this on the PE forum. Kind of fascinating the divergent viewpoint between PokerStars and the Party skins.

No other content, just thought the zoo might be interested as the statements from...

Capping the flop for the free card?

This is a general question really, but comes up most often in SH play since it's common to get HU or 3 handed on the flop. When I have a strong draw on the flop, in position, I'll often raise for a...

Re: Trying to multi-table HU/SH, recommended or not?

I only ran 3 full tables and I find 2 6-max tables keeps me quite a bit busier than the 3 full did.

I'd guess 4-tabling at 6-max is going to pretty well tax the physical and mental reflexes.

Re: Poker Edge (again), note from the developer

What is so ethical about charging a monthly fee to keep your own stats out?

Poker Edge (again), note from the developer

For all those who have been demonizing the PE developer's ethics, note this posting from him (from the PE forum).

Alright, it's getting to be that time. Low 20s VPIP with a 17ish PFR just isn't cutting it anymore.

What level? I'm 24/15 at 3/6 and doing pretty well so far.

Re: Something I am trying to do 20% of the time to......

Well, maybe not hate, but definately don't love. I've actually been trying this myself, but I'm doing it about 50% and its only when I flop 2-pair or higher. Even 2-pair I won't slow play on this...

Re: PokerEdge Hacked! :-)

I doubt PE can currently handle psychotic usage like this /images/graemlins/smile.gif. However, as a programmer, I can say it wouldn't take long to prevent it.

1) You have to be a PE user. I...

It's only distorting hands you yourself have played on your system and only if you are part of PE and thus uploading them.

Raise the flop. UTG+1 doesn't like his hand will almost certainly fold for 2 bets, but maybe not one. You're out of position and the button is probably just betting anything on that...

Not yet, but I'm sure it will happen. Rather than hope, I'm just not running any tool while I play until I see what the PE developers negotiations bring about. I'm hoping it'll bring some firm...

I love HUDs, however, I think they are most useful in table selection. I can honestly say that without a HUD I would probably spend more orbits on bad tables then I do.

It's really pretty sad. PokerEdge and PokerTracker are the same tool, just a matter of where the data resides. If 2+2 set up an ftp server where you could upload/download PT databases it'd have the...
