Re: Playable hands UTG

Search around in the forums and you'll get some pretty good discussions on alot of this.

These hands UTG are USUALLY playable. Usually UTG play calls for raising-or-folding. Your ability to play...

Pokertracker database size - What is the max.???

Was curious how big the databases can be these days for Pokertracker. What's a good rule-of-thumb to stop adding to a Db and starting a new one?

thanks,

Re: Oddly played T9s

I'd see raising as marginal in a larger pot here, but not worth the investment in this tiny one. Even the draws that could be out there will beat you occasionally. You could call, hoping to...

Re: 99 hand

Me too. Showdown = good. Folding = bad IMO.

Re: I still like cold calling my pairs.

Not sure why you ask this considering I liked your turn bet, and would have considered leading the flop also (then reevaluating all choices on the turn).

Do I think someone still alive in the hand...

Re: I still like cold calling my pairs.

Didn't say it had to be (AA) because it obviously does not. Does it really matter though, since no bigger pockets are folding anyway if they are out?

Re: I still like cold calling my pairs.

Am I the only one who thinks this hand wreeks of Trip Aces?

Fold preflop is standard IMO. The way the hand played out though, you must bet the turn in case you are ahead, but I also would expect...

Re: T9o behind 2 bad limpers, poll

No reason this hand can't be played for a modest profit considering your position, card strength, and #players together. Playing for 2-bets would not be pleasant, but you have the button. If this...

Partymine Question: Why are hands \"already existing in DB\"?

When using Partymine and importing into PT, PT usually says some of the hands already exist in the DB (roughly 10-20%) which is impossible. They are all new hands. Any idea what is happening here? ...

Partymine question

Just installed Partymine, however the counter is registering FAR less than the actual amount of hands being played. Anyone know why this is? Is the prog. not using unraked hands, only doing 1 table...

Cannot find an option on their website either. Nothing referencing "direct deposit" I can see (bump).

Re: Calling down TAGs - losing strategy?

Your hand is strong enough to see the river against a stealraise. I don't even like bet-fold on the river that much. The right Tag can think your putting a move on the river, then raise you off it...

Re: ATo 5/10

What are the reasons for betting the turn here? Looks like a classic free card for a hand that badly needs one. Good luck getting someone to fold a better hand here (TT and 99 is about it)

Given...

Re: Absolute Poker \"Cracked Aces\" promo. - What is the acct.#??

I found the "welcome" email from Absolute, which did not have any account #'s. I'm either stumped, or simply stupid...will they honor the request without the account#?

Re: stupid hu question

I vote 1 more with KK, and I'm done with all the others. Wouldn't like playing QQ or worse for 7 bets against any sane player...will likely see the river through anyway. My 2C.
