Re: How do you insult this guy?

[ QUOTE ]
I missed that episode of reading rainbow. Why try and out A-hole the A-hole? Take the high road and be the bigger person. Kicking the crap out of someone doesn't make me a better...

Re: Do bonuses affect taxes? (US)

So, what about rakeback? Those are more like payments for getting someone else to gamble, not gambling winnings, or ARE THEY?

Re: Anime Fans

Bleach, Naruto, Full Metal Panic, etc. are known as 'shounen' anime and known for stupidly long powerups/suspense (Dragon Ball Z) and incredibly lame emotional moments. Hunter x Hunter is by far...

Re: Wedding ceremony ideas - the good and the bad

Second the don't try any funny stuff. There's really no way to do funny in good taste here, just don't try.

Re: My no-berating challenge

A week is too small, you need to do it for a year for good sample size or it's pointless.

AQo open, LAG BB 3bet, turn ace

Hello there, opponent is 78.9/7.89/1.36 over 38 hands. Even though the dot dot dot is on river, interested to know if this turn or river should be raised, or if a call down is in order.

Party...

Re: Nubbing at 2/4, first venture into small stakes, 99 in large pot

You could do this and fold river, or you could raise turn. Raising flop is absolutely out of the question IMHOes. It's not like your typical idiot at 2/4 doesn't think calling the flop raise and...

I agree that it's confusing, but mostly because it's unreadable... Please stick the whole thing in http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi

Re: giving up a big draw on the turn.. party 10-20

Raw hand histories are NOT interesting, please use the converter http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi to make it readable and then edit your post

Re: hand i played like a total fish?

I would have raised the flop. (Called a 3bet and folded turn UI) I can see him betting TT, JJ, AJ, etc. I'm not ready to give up, and I really don't like the calling from flop to river.

Re: Folding Pocket aces

[ QUOTE ]
You've got to RAISE the flop to protect your hand and give the gutshots and backdoors incorrect odds to call.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you raise this flop, I really doubt it's for protection....

Ugh, Does this ONLY happen to me?

Yes. It is urgent that you search for cursed symbols such as pentagrams underneath your bed and the PC on which you play Hold'em.

Re: Correct response to a flop raise?

I know why you didn't C/R the flop. Because it's BAD. There is absolutely nothing to indicate that CO is going to bet this flop. Saying you should C/R is totally results biased.

Why is that at all funny?

Because he only listens to one song, for hours and hours, every day - That should be rather maddening.

Re: QQ vs. turn c/r

I don't think he was being tricky calling the Preflop 3-bet with AA-KK because he bet the flop. Maybe he noticed that it was all tight players down from him to the button and raised 77. Perhaps your...

Re: KK hand

Please use the converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi). It's really hard to read in the raw format like that, and it's not nice to post names.

Nobody poops but you and that\'s concentrated evil coming out your butt

Bet/fold?

The tighties are almost certain to fold. (IMHOS) UTG+2 might fold a chopping hand. There's a possibility you can fold a hand that beats you too. These coming from a no read guy could...

I'm with the turn bet crowd. Someone said you save a bet by taking the free card when there's a king - There's only four king cards, and you can lose more than one bet by letting this check through...
