According to (I don't remember which book) Cloutier in any PL game you should only bet and raise the pot so as to not become readable at all. If you're not betting the Half Pot you're likely to lose...

It's hard to say when it's safe. A /images/graemlins/spade.gif2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif and drawing 3 times will only give you a Badugi 49 percent of the time.
