Re: TPNK after a LRR

[ QUOTE ]

come on hizzle, these guys are just as dumb as the 2/4 ppl you were seeing when I was playing with you, they just have more $$$. If that flop gets checked though, in that big of a pot,...

Re: Huge pot, HU

[ QUOTE ]

75 with no club is not surprising to me at all here.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you're saying that Villian raising UTG and then capping hero's 3 bet from the BB with 75 is not the least bit...

Re: Is this how you do a screwplay?

I don't think this is the right situation for a screwplay. I would lead the turn. Any read on Villian?

Re: 10/20 on the wrong end of the screwplay - J7o

I think you can call this down. Enough straight and flush draws will semibluff this turn I believe. It's real close though...wouldn't have a problem either way.

Re: 10/20 weird action on a blind steal, A4o

I usually flat call that flop and re-evaluate on turn. Why the raise?

Re: Huge pot, HU

[ QUOTE ]

This was a range that justified my flop 3-bet. Once we get to the turn, his range changes.

Ok now I understand. I still think you have to discount the combos of A9 -...

88-KK, regardless of having a club. A9-AQ with or without a club. KT-KQ with a club.

That is before I realized he posted UTG. With that extra information, his range widens up a...

Re: Huge pot, HU

the only hands that cap the flop after you 3bet are AK with a club and KK with a club and AA. as for your river, what are you ahead of when you raise that?

QQ w/ a...

Re: Huge pot, HU

[ QUOTE ]

His range is so much wider than this. Our equity edge is huge on the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

What hands do you think we can add? QQ ? JJ? AJ w/ a club (maybe discount this down to...

Re: Huge pot, HU

anyone like just calling the flop raise and donking the turn?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's not a bad line either. You're missing AQ w/ a club (2 more combos that you are ahead of) in his...

Re: Huge pot, HU

I'm leaning towards c/c'ing the river w/o a solid read. Bet/calling would be the next best option.

Re: Anyone play this differently?

I like it. I cant imagine what you would be ahead of.

Re: Anyone go for the C/R when you\'re the PFR?

If the Vilian is extremely LAG and has a high flop aggression I might go for the flop C/R (this is rare)....it also depends on the board and his WTSD (higher the better). If not, betting is far...

Re: 5/10 River

I think the flop is closer than you think between checking and betting. You have to bet that river. His AF isn't that high...I don't think he would bet a busted flush draw often and he might call a...

J9s against lag on turn

Villian is 75/27/.78 over 2k+ hands.

What do you guys think about a turn donk/call down?

I thought it was close between checking and donking.

Re: turn fold - boring.

I fold preflop...if I raised preflop like you I would definitely call his turn bet and re-evaluate on the river. He could be donking with low pair, flush draw, or an open ender.

If you put your opponent on a missed draw, it's usually best to check-call the river.

What if you put your opponent on a missed draw and he will call a bet with ace high?

Re: For Krishan - I checked the turn with a set

I c/r this flop. If he 3 bets then call and bet/raise the turn.

My second favorite line is to bet/call the flop and then bet/raise the turn.

Re: probably a boring big blind hand

Is it really standard to call here getting 5.5:1 preflop against 2 unknowns? I would definitely call suited 1 gappers like 57s 68s ...but 84s seems too weak?

By the way ...my folded BB to steal...
