This is why you shouldn't play PP SNGs - there is no other play here than re-raise all in. There's nothing wrong with it.

Raise preflop. A8 upwards is strong 5-handed, and I'd in fact raise with any Ace when nobody else has shown strength, like here.
Once you've made the preflop raise, a 1/2 pot CB will be a +EV bet...
