Re: Please don\'t pair the river

This hand looks pretty good to me, except some opinions might differ about the flop action. You just lucky & unlucky /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: Never folding the BB.

Yes, I am aware of that. But if you can maintain a pretty nice winrate anyway it might be fun to play like this sometimes. Maybe i'm nuts?

Never folding the BB.

I was just wondering about this, i've been experimenting lately with playing tighter than most in the BB and it's been going pretty well. So what about never folding the BB, i'm mostly curious to...

Fold it, you not good 9% here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Even if he was going to win $ I think that number has to be much higher than 9% due to the split.

Fold it, you not good 9% here. I think button has atleast a pair in his hand(atleast a majority of the time), and even if he doesn't you have to factor in the SB.

Lemme guess, you folded and...

I have 85s in the BB and call a button open raise against a not-too-aggressive player.

Re: Basic Limit Short Handed Strategy

Jump in and play at stakes where you are comfortable losing 100bb or more, read the boards, ask questions.

Re: October Goals post!!

My goal was to be able to win at 20/40. No go yet.

Ran breakeven at 20/40 for 60k hands so i'm back at 10/20 for awhile, my sweet home. I had to mix in some happiness to my hellride at 20/40 (but...

Re: First trifecta in a while (LC)

Wouldn't you want to check-call if he was bluffing because you have an Ace, and even if you're wrong you have outs?

Re: For those of you that play the Party 1/2 (low content)

Sorry for causing such mess. I was comparing the 10/20 to 30/60, obviously I forgot that the thread was about 1/2 but what the heck... /images/graemlins/grin.gif

1bb/100 is a good target.

[/ QUOTE ]

So if someone is making 3bb/100 in the 10/20 6-max game, it's not really that worthwhile to move up?

Re: 10/20 and Opening Up Preflop from UTG & UTG+1

at 10/20 6max I play:

UTG: ATo, A5s, KTs, KJo, QTs, QJo, JTs, 55. Sometimes I go lower and sometimes I go higher, it depends on my image and how i've been running.

If the 10 is like having a friend hit you repeatedly in the gut with a baseball bat, then god, how do you describe the 20?

Dare we even think of how we could describe it?...

Re: What separates a good player from an advanced player?

Thanks, I was a bit confused since I play mostly shorthanded but don't mind playing fullring if there are good tables going on.

Re: What separates a good player from an advanced player?

When you're talking fullring stats, are these filtered for 7-10 players, average player 7? 8? I'm confused.

KK vs AA vs AA

I have ~8000 in chips, SB 4100, BB 4800. 5-handed homegame

I raise 3x bb, sb reraises, bb re-reraises, I raise enough to put them both all-in, they both call. I don't spike a set.

How are the...

77 vs TAG

Back to fullring and trying to not be so weak-tight. Maybe this was spewing? I dunno. Villain is about 22/12, pf agg 1.7, went to sd 37, won at sd 50 over 3100 hands.

I've been playing my new...
