Re: K high river call

I kinda like it. Flush draw or OESD on the flop make up a good amount of his range and he might take a stab with it on the river. It´s still close because if he cant beat your hand he knows that both...

30/60 giving up too much?

Villain is 38/26/1.3, stabs at pots that probably noone hit, semibluffs hard and sometimes calls down a pair of 5s on AQ-board against a PreflopReraise. I´d say he´s hard to play (tricky), but not...

Re: 30/60 AQ fold

Here are my thoughts about the hand:
On the flop its likely I hold the best hand, MP raises me and cant expect anyone to fold so I figure its very likely he has a pocket pair, heart draw or A8. But...

Re: Q9s

I dont get the river call at all. I think you are good here ~0% of the time. But I need to go to sleep so I my mind might be off here.

Re: Odd AK hand...

Call down. The wheel chance gives you extra outs so you have to call the turn and when you are on the river you are good often enough so you shouldnt fold for one more bet.

Re: Royal Flush Draw - TT

I think you cant play it any different. The flop must be bet but when both call you are behind almost always. You want to see the river as cheap as possible, I like the turn check.
On the river you...

why do you keep saying this? 3-betting oop then check/folding the flop is just awful. betting these flops is a no brainer.

I strongly agree, check-folding this flop is...

30/60 AQ fold

MP is laggy 37.5/23.2/1.4 over 300 hands, havent seen anything out of line from him yet. Maybe my 3rd orbit at the table.
BB is unknown.

Re: LAP River Play

Villain is too passive. The board is scary but he raises anyways. Its almost never a bluff (a 3bet wont do any good then anyways) so you are either splitting (then he will call your 3bet) or you are...

Re: Turn raise here?

[ QUOTE ]
Subfallen, you're probably right that I wouldn't get an overpair to fold here, even from a TAG, although if he only has something like JJ he has to entertain the possibility of me having a...

Re: Turn raise here?

Fold preflop. He is not raising 29% from this spot, its very likely he is quite tighter there, so its maybe ~23% so your hand is actually a dog and 2 players are still to act.
Also it will often be...

Re: Rare Flop Slowplay with AA

I think raising the flop would not be a good play here. The board cant get more uncoordinated than this, your AA is a monster and your opponents are drawing very slim so you dont want to shut anyone...

Re: PP10 - TPTK runs into CR

Looks pretty close between calling or 3betting the turn. BB might have a weaker queen, small 2pair, set, pair + flushdraw or straight. CO gives us some value, its likely he is on a flushdraw which...

Normally I´d CR but Button is really passive, so I just bet.

Re: PP10. 46s RIVER BLUFF

Imo this is a complete spew unless you had a way better read than just "fish". It´s very unlikely he is raising the river without a full house and as he is a fish he will never fold a 7.

this is a deceptively terrible flop for your hand. I also HATE your flop-turn line

Ok, seems like everyone agrees with the fold. Both villains checked the 8-river and showed a weaker king so they split the pot. I folded the best hand, wouldnt even have been a split.
I really like...
