Re: NC: How long do you spend studying each day

Unfortunately, I study Curtains hands way more than I review my own. Might be a leak?

Re: OT: Who is pretending?

I'd say its the ones who never post any hands, like JuKel or Stanzee.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wanna see the two of them play heads up. It'll be like an Ali-Foreman bout.

Re: Curtains Hand #2 12.30

So did you choose you're handle so people would think you were a lonely housewife blowing you're husbands money or a gay interior decorator or something?

Re: $55: Overpair on paired board- Bet out or check raise?

Between your last two posts (this and the TPWK ITM post), you've shown that you are in love with the check raise. But you have to understand...a minraiser is not always going to go for a...

Re: hours put in each week

You only pay higher taxes on the amount that you earn above the cutoff for the tax bracket. Its never going to lose you money...you just won't keep as much of the extra income.

Re: $55: Overpair on paired board facing an All-in

With no reads...fold. Any of the guys behind you could easily be trying to check raise their set of threes. Not counting the 2 to act behind you, this guy has a 3 or set of 4s often enough to scare...

Re: $11: AA Problem

400 bet is fine. But as I remember the $11s, JT, K8 or 99 isn't folding to a push here, so why not just have some fun.

Re: $11: AA Problem

If you're gonna put 450-500 into this pot you may as well just push the flop.
(a) You're pretty much committing yourself to the pot if you do that (not a bad thing at this point)
(b) At this...

Re: Getting frustrated with the money I make

Ugh...gotta be brutal making a living at the $10s and 20s

Try getting a "real job." This way poker is more of a supplemental income and you'll feel more comfortable trying to move up in limits. ...

Re: $22: Early AQ Decision

Been a long time since the $22s, but I still don't like reraise push, and cold call when you just have one pair. I muck this and pick a better spot.

Re: Curtains: ITM

I hope you're kidding. Is button folding AT-AK, 88+? I doubt it, and I'm fairly certain there are many more hands that he will call with.

Re: Curtains: ITM

Call, hope for a cheap showdown unless you hit big. KT isn't a monster and your still acting behind a raiser and a caller (even if the caller is already all-in).

No, I'm assuming he's gonna bet more than 1/3 pot with 99 (which I consider slow playing).

Re: ($22): Doing to job of the big stack, should I here?

Even at the $22s, people realize that limping off 1/6 of your stack generally signifies that you like your hand and will call an additional 380 to win 880.

A raise is just bleeding chips. As it...

Re: Getting back into SNGs - $22 Push?

Apparently not...enlighten me. Does the benefit of 150 chips when you have 13x BB actually justify the risk of being called with the worst hand in poker and be at best a 60/40 dog?

So no I don't...

Re: ($22): Doing to job of the big stack, should I here?

If you want to play this hand this way, call don't raise. Calling accomplishes the same thing as raising, but puts fewer chips at risk.

I only play the hand this way if BS was intentionally...

Not much in the way of reads that I can tell...looks like villain hasn't done anything extraordinary. At least nothing that curtains could have noticed while 10-tabling.

Re: JJ level 3 push with a limper

With my stack size and a limper ahead of me, this is pretty much a push/fold situation. I hate gettin in big pots that see flops here.

JJ is an auto-push for me...TT is much different. I'm...
