Re: As a beginner, how long were you in the red, how\'d you turn it around?

For god sakes dont do what I did. I started out playing Hold'em home games in AK and instantly crushed the games. Went out and read supersystem and thought I was a winning player. Then I went down to...

Re: Cardrooms near Seattle airport

[ QUOTE ]
I take it this was 4-8 or lower? This can be common in most smaller rooms. Wait 'til they play this way blind. What would be shady is the guy with 82os playing and jamming to the river,...

[/ QUOTE ]

IMO 2/4 will turn into batting practice.

Ive got mixed emotions about the new tables though. It will...

Re: Cardrooms near Seattle airport

The New Grove in Everett is the main one that I thought was shady.

Re: KK : Bad beat or my failure to protect.

I dont think this is a very good spot for a C/R here b/c its not gonna get you heads up with UTG+1 which is what you want with only 1 pair and draws on the board. If you look at your position in the...

Re: KK : Bad beat or my failure to protect.

I dont think you played it too bad. Reason you lost this one was that MP1 was a donk. Bet out on the turn and hope UTG raises you so MP1 faces two cold.
