Re: A table full of multitablers...

The first time I tried to multitable was playing three $100 PLO tables on Stars. I almost wet myself laughing when I noticed that 5 of the other players were at all three tables. I tightened up for...

Re: Is it live..........

Don't you guys adjust your bets to manage the size of the pot, thereby giving bad odds, when a flush draw is on the board and you are trying to protect your not so great hand? The bet in this hand...

Re: Any Good Directions to Foxwoods from NYC/Fairfield County?

From Danbury you need to take the 84 east route listed above. I hope you weren't thinking of taking 7 or 8 south to 95 then going east. Way out of the way and lots more traffic.

Re: There is a player named Bob_Ciaffone on Pokerroom 5-5

Pokerroom and Checknraise are part of the same network? I never knew that. I've been thinking of adding pokerroom or a skin to my list of sites. Thanks for the info.

Re: There is a player named Bob_Ciaffone on Pokerroom 5-5

I seriously doubt it is Ciaffone. Bob owns a piece of CheckNRaise.com so I don't believe that he would be playing, under his own name, at another poker room.

Re: Daily Tournaments at the Taj

You'll find a mix of regulars, good players and people who have no idea. The problem with all the AC tournaments is the blinds and antes escalate very quickly. After a few rounds it becomes a push...

Re: Caesars AC - Shootout?

They only use the shootout format when they have over 70 players. The last two times I played there they only had about 40-50 players so used a standard freezeout format. Some of the regulars said...

Re: My first post - preflop questions

WOW. Usually I catch flack for being the loosest guy in the room and I see about 45% in the $100 buyin.

Most of the PLO games I play in are not raised before the flop (if raised then I tighten...

Re: First time ever called a donkey - Could it be true?

After reading your responses I have to agree that the check raise move was a pretty bad play. I should have slow played and just called the flop. I am trying to change over from a weak-tight to a...

First time ever called a donkey - Could it be true?

Sorry I didn't save the HH but here is the basic situation. Stars 180 $20 SNG. Blinds 100/200. Don't recall if the antes had started. I am the BB. All the other characters had similar sized...

Re: A.C. Showboat HOB Daily Tournaments

Re: When I am an old poker player...

Was this the $20/180 from a few days ago where you went out in 27th place? I was siting at your table (I made the blog comment) and went out in 30th. But we were both very low stacks at the end.

Re: AA double suited that misses

I have found that in low limit omaha a pot bet pre flop screams AAxx. So when I see a flop like this I will bet out against the AAxx player and more times then not the AAxx will fold.

Re: PLO at sites other than party and pokerstars

UB usually will have a few 25 and 50 tables, 1 or 2 100 tables and spotty for higher.
Bodog usually has about 2 or 3 at 25 or 50, 3 100 tables and 1 or 2 at higher limits.
Interpoker: about a year...
