Quick probability question

Apologies if this has been covered before, I did a search but couldnt find it. If there is a x% chance of an event happening, what is the chance of that event happening in a series out of a total...

Re: Buying in too big?

Im pretty sure I played that old guy several times at the Plaza 1 2nl game, very nice man. He would buy in for about 20 times what anyone had at the table and then lose a little bit of it to me...

Re: Mahatma[no content]

That seemed like such a bad spot to bluff, I dont think IKF would ever fold an overpair there. Obv these stakes are a little higher than I am used to.

Re: Inappropriate Slowplaying in No Limit Hold \'em Tournaments

My biggest problem with the article was that it didnt address slowplayings biggest problem; namely that it fails to build the pot. If I flop a full house in a multiway pot Im usually going to go...

Re: 3/6 NL-bottom set, multi-way pot

It looks like 999 or AJ. There are no draws on the board and I think a raise might get AJ to fold, or definitely consider it so I think flat calling turn and river is the best play. I think leading...

Re: I played a really big pot with ace high

I used to be one of those too. I like how you played it and I call the river as well if Id called the turn. I usually fold the turn though.

Re: 3/6NL Boat checkraised

I think if you raise the turn it lets a jack of the hook easily, whereas if you flat call he will pot commit himself on the the river. Against most (bad) players I reckon you should put the rest of...

Re: Monster draw getting insane action.

I think this is a call, sometimes you will be up against a higher flush draw and that sucks, but sometimes you wont be, and then you have half the deck going for you. Your straight outs are always...

Re: AQo HU OOP: 5/10 NL

Flat call the flop and then either check raise the turn or check call turn and river. I think if you three bet the flop it makes it far too easy for your opponent to fold anything you are beating....

Re: Turn semibluff, time to fire 2nd barrel on river? 5 10

There are two problems I see with betting the river, firstly a club draw is one of the villains likely hands, and your not going to be able to get a flush to fold. Secondly on the turn you are...

Re: AK facing shortstack all in.

Thanks for the replies. This actually was a hand posted on another forum, I thought that this was an auto call not really worthy of thought, just wanted to make sure I was right.

Re: And the winner of the Chad Brown award for excellece in getting pw

I dont know what limits you normally play at, but if you play at a game for 1/10th of what you are used to then you will find it tough to play well. I think its difficult to play well if the money is...

Thats about the worst flop I could imagine for KK without having an ace on it. He loves all the cards that fit this flop; 9T, JQ, Q8. He has called my preflop raises every time and not once has he...

Re: Loose Omaha/8 MTT strategy?

Dont play a hand just because it has A2 in it, its important to have a hand that can win high as well, because you will often split the low with other A2's. The 9 is the worst card in hi lo, so try...
