Re: last one - 77 v Uber-LAG 6Max
I concur with iceman. His weakish river bet means either (1) he spiked his K-10 or A-10 on the river or (2) he's reacting to your check on the turn thinking your flop bet was a steal attempt. ...

Re: Crap, crap crap... TPGK facing heat 200NL
Looks OK. I suspect, though, given his big river bet, that he had bottom or middle set and checked the turn because he's concerned about the flush draw. Hopefully for your sake he had A-10.

Rough double suckout or bad push PF?
Don't know if there's much I could have done with this hand, but it's been bugging me all week. Last weekend played some live 2/5 NL ($200 max). Good, fairly aggressive table overall, & after about...

Re: Pushing a marginal hand
I push here because it's entirely likely that one if not both of your opponents is playing A2 with a non-nut high draw. It's possible that one of them has A2 and a set, but you're not going to know...

Re: 6-12 limit hand
I concur. You had a set of 9s, plus the nut flush with a paired board, and 2nd nut low. And you don't need to pump the pot because SB is doing that for you. I like your raise on the river because...

Re: How would you have played this hand?
I think you played it fine. Depending on your read of the table, a raise on the flop makes sense if you're trying to charge naked low draws for drawing. Maybe alternatively a raise on the turn once...

Re: correct play?
You flopped bottom set, and your low draw is counterfeited. You need runners for a wheel or low straight. I'd put your opponent, given his raise out of the BB, on either AA with a couple middle low...

Hand 2 query
OK, my 2nd hand post -- I felt much better about my play here, but 2 strategy questions. (1) Pre-flop call instead of raise was correct b/c in such early position, right? (2) Do you re-raise on the...

How bad was this turn call?
How bad was this call, considering I put him on the king-high straight and possibly 1 of 2 flush draws? The guy bitched and moaned about it for about the next 10 minutes, until I finally had to mute...

Re: good sites for O8 tourneys
PokerRoom has a couple of decent 10+1 PLO8 tourneys later in the evening each night (11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. EDT, I believe). Usually about 80-120 entrants per event. Decent mix of good players...

Re: BB raise, knockout raise
Assuming your reads of your opponents are accurate, I'd generally agree, although I'd have considered just calling the turn (maybe with A2 a raise is in order?). What did SB have? I suspect either...
