Re: Considering the small stack, what\'s my play here?

If you are going to call the raise, why not push pre-flop? you are pretty much pot commited anyway. That being said, yes push this flop.

Re: Big Slick in $10/1 tourneys?

I fold this first hand it's too early and a limp/reraise screams big pair to me.
The second hand depends on what type of player UTG is. If he is extremely tight I may fold, otherwise I push.

Re: I more than triple up in round 1 -- now what?

Continue to play normally.Loosening up will slowly dwindle your stack.Save it for later when you can use it to bully at higher levels.

Re: Small buy-in tournies in Vegas

I went to Vegas in Nov. and played tournaments at the Plaza and at Binions. Both places were very well run.I enjoyed them so much that I never left downtown.

Re: TT: Push, fold or call?

Push or fold, don't call. If I think I can steal the blinds,I fold and wait for a better spot.If not, this may be your best chance to double or triple-up so push.

Re: Trip Queens Early in Tourney?

hands like this one really suck!
I know the blinds are only 5/10 but I probably raise to about 75 or 80 from early pos.your raise on the flop seems ok to me maybe could have been a little bigger....

Re: Interesting AKs in Step 2 tourney

I think folding is the best play here. You are probably a coin flip at best.I would wait for a better spot.

Re: Bubble Mistake?

If I put the button on a hand then I fold.I would rather be the one pushing with K /images/graemlins/spade.gifJ /images/graemlins/spade.gif instead of calling a push.

Re: Did I do the right thing here?

The only time I would check this hand down is on the bubble in a satellite ,with all prizes being the same.BB is complaining but he more than likely bets the turn if you don't bet him out.

Re: 2nd Step - comments please

I would not have raised from middle position with a limper here, but i don't think your fold is wrong. You still have plenty of chips and it's very early.I fold and wait for a better spot.
