Is signing up in person at the RIO the only way to sign up for the ME? If it doesn't sell out, is it possible to sing up for Friday or Saturday after Thursday?

Re: oregon casinos

Spirit Mountain is fairly close to Newport. It's pretty large with a decent Poker room. There's also Tourney's a couple days a week.

Re: Reading What The Enemy Reads

I think this can help. There has been a few times where I have recognized people that (I assume) have read Hellmuth's book, because they raise with any pair and fire a bet at the pot after the flop...

Also, a year ago, I lived in Hyderabad, India for about 8 months and accessed just about any type of site that you might think would be restricted...

Re: Clonie G -- eye candy or great poker player - or both?

I got put out of the Wildhorse No-Limit Tournament in Pendleton, OR by Clonie (that doesn't mean she's good by any means, lol). She seemed solid, but nothing amazing. I sat at a table for quite...

I'd count 5 outs, and...

Re: Interesting Hand from tonights Super Tuesday

I think you got just what you planned for, and executed. It just happened to be that someone had one of the few hands on the higher range of hands that you anticipated.

I've been in situations...

Still alive at 3rd break, but severely short stacked:-(

Comeback, get crippled, comeback, get crippled.
Crippled - T1920. 92 left... I'll probably have to double up to get into the money (80).

Re: Anyone playing in the Washington State Poker Championship?

I think this is held at Debbie's in Renton. I saw something about it in that Northwest Gaming Magazine/Newspaper. I'll look around and see what I can find.

Re: Seattle Poker Breakdown...

Another place, not yet mentioned, is the "Drift On Inn". They only spread 3 tables, but if you can put up with the smoke and drunkeness, you won't find worse players on a Fri. or Sat. night.
