Re: is villain saying \'i have boat\' ?

While not likely, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif x/images/graemlins/diamond.gif is possible yet it is obviously not something to hope for when the villain pushes that much.

Re: What should I bet to protect a made straight from a flush draw?

UTG+1 had a small one-card straight and the flush draw. For all he knows (which he probably doesnt care) he's freerolling you so all the money in the world wont make him fold the turn.

Re: Anyone get a real gross feeling while they\'re in a casino?

These people enjoy what they're doing (a vast majority of them) Why pity them?

Re: First NL live casino game: how\'d I play?

[ QUOTE ]
I didn't want to pay blinds on the next hand so I bolted out of there.

$3? If the table was that juicy, you shouldn't ever "bolt" out of there, but it's just a small...

Re: 25NL AA Standard River?

You got a great flop and yeah the turn and river weren't the best but I've seen a lot worse. Easy value bet.

Re: Two questionable hands from a session today

Hand 1 is a bad beat post. There's a forum for that.

Hand 2

3-betting TT even against a donk is horrid. I'd love playing a $5 pot in position against a donk with TT at NL50. Why reraise? What...

When it's checked to me on the river here I value bet. Other than that it looks ok. I could nitpick and say bet slightly more on turn - I like $40.

Re: OESD\'s checked to in position - do you bet these?

This thread as a whole just doesn't make sense. If you're mixing up your play, you would never conform to a strict standard of "i always/usually bet this". If you're playing super-tight ABC poker,...
