Re: 87s

I don't see any way you can call 2 cold on the flop when it gets back to you. You may be up against 3 jacks and a higher flush draw. Cut your losses.

Re: AA hand with a donk on the turn and check on river

I would guess MP1 has hit a set. It would explain the limp-in in early position and his lead on 4th street. Like you said, the straight and flush have him concerned.

Re: Is poker the best game for a casino?

In the long run, the house is guaranteed to win at roulette. On a double zero wheel, the house win percentage is a little over 5%.

Re: Thanks again for your support

I had the privilege of watching you win the 2004 WSOP in person. It was a pleasure. Especially since Binion's allowed me to sit in the VIP area /images/graemlins/smile.gif Hope to go it again...

Re: Party Poker Suggestions

I found that I was folding my decent hands on the river because I thought someone had me beat (flush, straight, set, whatever). I quickly found out that they don't hold the "nuts" and in some cases,...

Re: AKs vs TAP

You must keep betting. You do not have position, so there's no guarantee he will bet if you check on turn.

Thanks! I started thinking along those lines after the first response.

Finding Good Tables on PP

I am constantly looking for loose, passive tables with little PFR and fairly large average pot sizes. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this effectively?

Re: Better hand to show my recent woes... QQ

I fail to understand why you raised on the turn after being 3-bet on the flop. Was UTG the loose-aggressive type?

Re: AKs did\'nt hit flop how should i have continued?

Since you raised pre-flop, I would lead out with a bet. Since u don't say if you have any reads on these players, I would also lead out on 4th street if just called (especially if J,T or spade...

Re: Bet out with an underpair?

Pre flop, I would have raised. This accomplishes 2 things - gain the button and (hopefully) drive out blinds. If checked on flop, I would bet and go from there.

Re: QQ at Party25

I would also raise to $5 and see what happens. Many players lead out with a bet to see if they can take it down with draws or 2nd/3rd pair. If he calls, check or fold on the turn.
