My take on your situation is kinda like this..I've been there before also.
When you throw a stack of chips at somebody who is almost broke usually they are only gonna call if they have these 3...

Please don't jump into limit for real cash unless you know how to play it and play it very very well..It's not the same as no-limit.
Take some time and learn limit for free at the play tables...
