Re: Anyone NOT receive their PokerShare rakeback?

PokerShare paid everyone. Is it possible that your affiliate doesn't know how to pay? That happened to me on a few accounts.

Re: Will PokerShare rakeback be paid for October and November?

If that is indeed the case why are you throwing them under the bus. I seriously doubt what you are saying. If they somehow did pay you and didn't pay the rest of us why throw them under the bus?

Re: Will PokerShare rakeback be paid for October and November?

I was told that we likely shouldn't expect anything until early next week. So this isn't surprising.

Re: Will PokerShare rakeback be paid for October and November?

Are you an affiliate or a player. I paid all my players so to them it seems like I got paid.

I do expect to see something on Monday but I opted for wire transfer. My guess is checks might have...

Re: Pokershare

I think he is right though. I expect they still are planning that rather than inadvertently disappointing people again.

Re: Pokershare

I am fairly certain that was the plan all along. Actually I don't think you ever really saw 100% of PokerShare. From what I know what everyone saw was maybe 20% of the overall package.

Re: Pokershare

I think once everyone is paid people will feel better about the situation. The reality is PokerShare was a good thing, clearly it turned out to be too good a thing. If they could do the same thing...

Re: The inflection point on rakeback with Stars and Party

Poker Stars is saying to everyone, we have good games and we advertise for fish. If that is enough, you should play there. If not, there are other options and if they didn't react to the Party...

Re: if rakeback is so important how come PokerStars is a major player?

My point is and will always be that even with your numbers that is a lot of money.

5%-20% of revenues when you start throwing around the B word is a lot.

Re: if rakeback is so important how come PokerStars is a major player?

Based on information I know I would say that rakeback accounts for no less than 20% of all revenues online. More importantly, some form of rake reduction is going to become more common. Could be...

Re: If you had to choose on rakeback models?

I definitely don't think you can rule out people going for certainty. They trust these sites, that is likely the reason they would take less. Better service, in theory.

Imagine if the...

Re: If you had to choose on rakeback models?

I am not so sure of that. I think a lot of people are saying they would like to be done with the hassle.

Re: An answer-maybe not the answer, any thoughts?

Reducing the rake as an overall solution is not going to heppen strictly based on the marketing potential of those dollars comparitively. The people it would benefit would also be the the people who...

Re: Official Guide to Party Poker Rakeback

Isn't it plausible that they are once again pretending to be for rake back with the intent to smack down every affiliate that is telling people to close their previous accounts. The whole...

Re: An answer-maybe not the answer, any thoughts?

Though that small percent accounts for a great deal of their revenues.

Re: If you had to choose on rakeback models?

Speaking as someone who would seemingly benefit greatly from this type of scenario, it is still a great unknown and the known is by far the preferrable option.

Re: An answer-maybe not the answer, any thoughts?

I am not misguided at all. That is my point. Good players go where the value is, rakeback makes up some of the value on harder sites but it is completely possible that no rakeback is needed to keep...

An answer-maybe not the answer, any thoughts?

This is a follow up to my last post where I identified the problems that are causing all of the rakeback fervor recently. Here are some attempts to answer those problems and talk straight about what...

Re: If you are about to sign up for your 15th Party account-read this

I genuinely don't have a problem with anyone agreeing or disagreeing, you will see in my next post that I indeed think the players should be getting the value.

In regards to new players, everyone...

If you are about to sign up for your 15th Party account-read this

There is too much discussion in this forum about the wrong thing. Here is what affiliates are doing wrong that has rakeback viewed in a negative manner. I’ll use the Party Poker example and I am...

Re: What is to stop an affiliate running away with our money?

This is a matter of definition. If you consider NBC or Card Player affiliates then yes you are correct. I highly doubt there are more than 20 people in the whole world doing more than 1 million a...

Re: My take on the Party debacle

About 3 weeks ago Party affiliate managers started calling affiliates saying you can do rakeback on the DL, they approached many big Empire and Eurobet affiliates as well. In retrospect it seemed to...

Re: My take on the Party debacle

You are so off base on your assertions that is to the point of being ridiculous. Clearly you know little about what you are speaking of, Empire and Eurobet both had tiering 5% or more higher than...
