Re: Pushed A Ko pre-flop.

Seems crazy to me. If you know he is the type to call any bet, why not wait to see if you hit something on flop then raise him then? I'm assuming you want a call when you push all in preflop so if...

Re: Folded KK preflop- thoughts?

How many people were dealt into the hand? I'd be more inclined to fold if it were a 10 handed game and only you 3 remained. If it was shorthanded, its a really tough fold. From the betting though,...

Re: What am I doing?? AJ Party 6max

If you know the guy is tight, 25%VPIP, then him raising $2 with others to act usually means AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ. You can not beat any of those hands on the river so the bet on the river can be saved....

Re: Can you lay down bottom set?

pocket pairs i can see calling AA if it's less than 10% of stack but suited connectors?? with pocket pairs, its easy to make a decision on the flop but with suited connectors, you will flop a draw...

Re: Can you lay down bottom set?

amoeba - hmm yeah, i think your line is better. Its 5% of stack so a good idea to call. For me, if i know someone has AA, i usually fold because i am totally dominated. Although with the bet being...

Re: More 6 max fun: OESD becomes MPTK

Looks like MP has a Q with a shitty kicker. Flop play looks good - got pot odds and no point to raising it out of position with a drawing hand. Turn call.. hmm raise or fold here, I'd tend to fold....

Re: Can you lay down bottom set?

Unless I have a rock solid read on these guys or have them tagged as SUPER tigt, i'm losing my stack in this hand. Although if i have them tagged as super tight, I'd fold any pair under QQ to a...

Re: Is this a bad Push?

I used to care but at the party $25, anytime someone reraises me and i have KK and 50xbb stack, its an instant push. No regrets. Yes i have been whacked by AA but I've seen all types of hands...

Re: Trip 9s, no kicker. Bleh

You already know it but out of position with straight and flush draws possibilities on the turn and $16 in the pot, I'd probably push the turn. By the time you hit the river, theres still 3 others...

Re: 1-2 NL at the Trop

If a $12 raise gets 5-6 to the flop, why not pop it up to $20 preflop?

I've played at the trop before and saw a guy with AA raise $20 and a guy with A2 offsuit call it. The flop was 2 2 3. Even...

Re: Top pair and flush draw = easy push?

Hum would have figured this would play like an OESD + flush on the flop. Most people would advocate pushing with that.

Re: Bankroll and fluctuations poll

1. Playing at the lowest limit on party.
2. Thanks for the helpful hint.
3. Read a whole bunch of books.
4. Have an excel spreadsheet with all records.
5. They must be from holland.

Re: Bankroll and fluctuations poll

Yes. Well not a poll "poll" with options. Just want to see what kind of swings people are getting in real numbers.

Bankroll and fluctuations poll

Just for curiosity 's sake.

I seed my PP account with $50 about 4 months ago. In about 2 months (playing 10hours a week), I ran it up to $1000. Then i lost/won/lost/won/lost for the past few...

Yes i am a retarded monkey. You guys are dead on.

1) Must play like a tight coconut when first sitting down.
2) When a guy isnt scared of draws on board, you should be.

Pretty horrible play...

Re: Wrong or bad luck?

Honestly, I could see your opponent doing this with KK or QQ so nothing to be done about it. I guess I might feel a little strange on the river bet and just call him instead of raising all in but...
