Re: $109s - TT Hand (can you resist?)
So you're guaranteeing you get a call?
Seems like a -EV play to me, since you'll be at best flipping with the caller (I'm confident that even if you have a bad image, they still will have...

Re: Bubble Play
Say it's 4 handed and you have AK. You most likely have the best hand, but you still don't want to have to see 5 cards. AK vs two undercards is still only a 65/35 favorite, and you don't want to risk...

Fold AA Preflop?
Ok, this is purely hypothetical, but is AA a fold in this situation:
200/400 blinds.
Hero: t700
BB: t3100
UTG: t3100
Button: t3100
UTG pushes, Button calls, you're sitting in the...

Re: Bizarre BB special
I might push on the flop with top two.
And the turn raise is really small on a pot of 360.
Hopefully by the river I've got my chips in or close enough so it's not a decision. But I don't raise...

Re: Bubble Play
Muck.
UTG limper and a push in front, you're at best a coinflip, and easily dominated by AK, QQ, KK, or AA. Plus, you don't want to have to show down the best hand anyway.
Also, there is a good...

Re: QQ capped on two streets
MP2 most likely has you beat. He caps with AA,KK,QQ, maybe JJ and TT. The only hand you beat there is JJ (I obviously don't put him on QQ as well). With MP1 leading in on the turn when the 2nd 5...

When you're bet into on the river after a capped turn, call him down. He's already shown enough aggression that he should be put on a premium hand.

Re: Flop Broadway on a One-Suited Board
UncleSalty: this pot is only 3.5BB on the flop, but has the potential to get enormous, with 7 players in. AK,AT,KT are drawing to a boat, Qh, Jh are drawing to a flush. 3.5BB might be small, but say...

just to add one: mine are 75.29% and 47.95% (I think the latter is a little low but I'm working on it)

The latter is a little HIGH. If the pot is 5BB, then that percentage...

Just call the flop raise and call down unless you hit your kicker. This will allow you to raise one of the big streets if you do hit, since you have position.

Re: Is this as bad as I think it is?
You could be behind on the flop to a set. On the turn you have the nuts and I bet out there. What's the purpose of slowplaying at that point? There's action on the flop, so it's not like everyone is...

Re: 30K+ checkup...comments please
I dont think you're running that bad.
If you have 2 errors of 3BB every hundred hands, thats 6 BB lost. Plus the other few errors that might cost 1 BB, thats like overall lost profit of around 10...

Re: Is this a case of... wait for the turn?
So by raising the flop, you put an extra 3BB in the pot.
By raising the turn, you got 2 BB in the pot.
I was more commenting on the reasoning behind the wait. You said that clubs are going to...

Re: A10 on the button
I dont 3-bet on the flop.
I call the flop with the intention of calling down.
After you hit your ten, then I bet out.
If I get raised on the turn then I call down.

I would think that someone 3-betting the flop has more than just AJ or AQ... though its possible that he doesnt. Against the average player, I call down, but if the guy...
