Re: Betting into the PFR?

I dont play high stakes, but here is my thought on the subject.

If you think you've got the best hand, bet out only if he's aggressive enough to raise. Especially if you're in EP, he's LP, and...

Re: Fold those Aces!!!!!!!!

Id fold it. I cant think of anything that MP1 would raise that didnt beat you...Unless he's a real drunken idiot, but you really didnt watch him play enough to know whether or not he is. I fold the...

Re: I\'m trying to grow up, so I cold donk

A raise on the river is pretty clear to me here. The only hands you're afraid of are A9 and 99. If he has either, he wins this time. But if he's as stupidly agressive as you say he is, id always...

Re: What Do We Think of This?

I think a call down is the best move here. Basically you'd be paying 2BBs for a 13-14BB pot. I think 1 in 7 times he's got AK or AQ. Thats just me though.

Re: Waiting for the Turn to Protect Your Hand (ala SSHE)

I really like your play here. I usually dont make plays like that, but im seriously going to start trying it out. The more I think about it, the more I like it.

Call the flop, and if the heart...

Re: KQo on a drawy board...

It seems like it might be too aggressive, but I would have probably played it the same.

On the flop you've got 4 outs to probably the winning straight and top pair strong kicker. Not sure if I...

Dan

Re: Axs, flops 4-flush, what to do on the turn/river?

your 2nd hand was played much better than the first.

I see absolutely no point in C/Ring a flush draw unless you know 4+ people are still going to be in the hand after you do it. But even still,...

Re: The art of the big laydown.

No way you lay that down.
The fact that you're posting it means he obviously has AA, i dont even need to look at the part in white.

AA is the only hand anyone could possibly have to beat you, and...

Re: How much did you win/lose in your first year?

Interesting that this was posted today.
I started playing seriously April 1, 2004. Some time in Feb i made my first deposit of 50, and lost it playing 25NL. Some time later a friend bought in and...

Re: If 150-250 BB downswings are normal

For online pros, they get their rakeback once a month. And that number could very well be exceeding 2000$. Helps with the payment to yourself.

Re: Coral poker experiences

I'm a big fan of coral.

Their rebuy and cashier options are a pain in the ass, but they are pretty reliable, and rakeback is great.
