Re: Preflop hand selection when facing a raise

Nice reply Buzz.

I would add '- some raise to steal blinds'

Do you use the GAP principle when determining when to call a raise PF? Meaning you need a 'premium rasing hand' in order to call a...

Re: i think this is a surprisingly complex foxwoods hand,,,

I bet out 3K hoping to take it down preflop. If someone comes over-the-top, you still have options. Against tight big stacks, you can fold and still have enough to get through the blinds and limp...

So I didn't do much at all 1st hour. Ended it at 1555.

After the break, my internet access is hosed. 25 minutes later, after pulling off two splitters, I got the cable modem back on line....

Re: Party Sidebet bar

Dear Party Poker,

Please make the new sidebet bar & the black jack link go away. I find them annoying and distracting. They also make multi-table with overlap more of a pain...

I was on 3 tables. 3 froze, one still worked for about 6 more hands, then it froze also.

Shut tables, shut Party, now I can't get back in....

Re: my first hand posted here

I don't know what the table was like passive / aggressive etc. But with 2 ep limpers, you need to be a bit suspicious. You have a good starting hand, but one that needs flop help, and plays well...

Re: Final Table of Party Limit Tournament

Just seems kinda weird. You are at a final table, short handed, and yet you have no reads on the guy. You have no reads, yet you call a 3 bet flop with an A high / gut shot.

You are short...

I check / call all the way down.

I can beat a bluff, I can beat a weak Spade. I am not good enough to lay this down, so I need to give villian a chance to make a mistake. If I bet he usually only...

Some hands from yesterdy\'s PP WSOP party points freeroll

About 500 runners start, we are down to the last 20 (could have been 30, but I think 20). I am 4th in Chip stack, but barely in 2nd chip position at my table. If you love a good implosion, read on....
