Re: Maybe a dumb question that I will take some heat for, but...

Does this mean they see anything up on your screen at the time? If so, checking your bank acccout etc while on party may not be a great idea.

If that is the case, I'd imagine they see some pretty...

Re: All Day Hold Em Single Table Movin up Challenge....

Your risk of ruin at 2-4 with 100 is incredibly high. Good luck, you'll need it.

Re: What does the number in red parentheses mean in the reply column?*

I think it's since you last logged into a particular forum, but I could be wrong.

Re: POKERNOW FIRST TIME DEPOSIT BONUS

You don't need a code, just deposit. I did it just today without a code and am playing it off now (500 hands for 100)

Re: Staking, Relocating, and Teaching Players

I anticipate you will have a problem once your friend has made 40K playing poker and is still having to pay you 25% when you probably haven't taught him anything in a long time. It's too expensive...

Re: UTG+1 is (82/5/.33) over 22 - what does this mean?

The first two are percentages. Someone with a 100 VIP would be putting money in pre-flop at every opportunity. Someone with 0 would fold pre-flop every time except when they got to play free out of...

Re: UTG+1 is (82/5/.33) over 22 - what does this mean?

It's PT stats, 82=VIP (voluntary put in pot), 5= PFR (pre-flop raise) and .66 is agression. Over 22 means these stats are for 22 hands the person has on the villian.

Re: Absolute Poker Bonus Question

According to the Absolute Poker home page you can get 35% for "a limited time" using bonus code AP35 on a first deposit. Fair warning, I think that site is more trouble than it's worth. Nothing...

Re: MVP of the zoo?

Well, you seem to be missing The Matador and other incarnations of him/her so I went for Granny for sheer entertainment value.

Re: My first 10k hands (moving to 2-4$)

You should do fine. I'd start by adding one table of 2/4 and continuing with 3 of 1/2.

Re: Am i a typical PP FISH?

Yes, fold PF. You don't want to play this for two bets unless you are in late position and there are tons of callers. You can call in the blinds here as well.

Re: Set of Queens played perfectly...

I agree, cap pre-flop and lead the flop to protect your hand. When the pot is big you should focus on winning in, not building it. Since you didn't lead the flop, why on earth didn't you cap it???

Re: Do you respect other multi-tablers when you see them?

If they multi-table, I usually have enough hands on them to make a judgement based on that so I don't rely on the fact that they multi-table to judge them. That being said, I think the avg....

Re: LOSERS??

I play four tables on 1162x854. It's not that bad, although I'm sure when I finally get a new monitor I won't beleive I went this long (over a year) without. There is lots of overlap, but lucky the...

Re: pokerroom.com frustrations?

You're crazy, and what they are saying is if you move to Party, it will be twice as bad. You will be drawn out on significantly more than at Pokerroom because the games are MUCH looser.

Re: What do you guys think of Turbo Texas Holdem?

It's not anything they advertise, but many, many people (including me) opened accounts there and if you don't deposit any money for a week (roughly) they make a free $10 or $20 deposit into your...
