Re: misplayed 66?

Raise the flop. There's a good chance SB has 2 overcards. He might fold when you bet the turn, and you can charge the other guy more if he's on a draw.

Re: Problems with King Yao\'s book

When a good/tight player is on your left, you can buy the button more easily. And you will be in the CO/hijack position much more often in 6-max. Since good players are more aggressive, you have more...

Re: preflop: 99

3-bet. With 99, you want 1, 2, or 5 opponents; you don't want 3 or 4. You can knock out the blinds with your raise, and if an Ace doesn't flop, you'd likely have the best hand.

Suprising. The mike l. I know checks the turn there.

Do you think there's a reasonable chance that the opponent was check-raising a worse hand here?

Re: Basic 15/30 Party Hand, but something feels wrong about it

ZeeJustin made a good decision by just calling preflop. While AKo and AQs are usually 3-bet hands, there are some exceptions.

In this hand, it was multiway, and the PF raise came from ZeeJustin's...

Re: 80 Hand vs. Teri

[ QUOTE ]
If I remember correctly, HPFAP says you have to have the best hand 55% percent of the time if you bet the river. Since you would have to call any raise or re-raise I think the concept...

Any problem with checking the turn and calling a bet on the river?

Re: 5-10 shorthanded

HEFAP shorthanded section is for heads-up and 3-handed games. If you played that way in a 6-handed game, you'd get killed.

Re: Folding a flush

Very bad fold. Especially when you're heads up. What makes you so sure he has a boat? If he had a Q, he probably would've raised the flop. He could be raising the turn with an Ace or smaller flush....

[ QUOTE ]

I don't think your opponents have a 7 that often here.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's your problem. You don't think they will have a 7 that often, because you don't want them to have a 7.
