Party Notes

Recently, I have noticed that my Party notes have been truncated after a certain number of characters. This was never a problem in the past, but seems to be a "feature" of the new upgrade. Has...

Re: How i play this.

i hope you have a big enough b-r. usually i'd say 15,000 to move up. or maybe 10,000 to take selective shots and again 10,000 if you're prepared to move back to 10-20 (or 5-10) if you lose 5,000. if...

Re: How i play this.

Thank you for your reply.

This pot is already rather large on the flop. In hands like this where I hold TT, JJ, QQ and 3bet PF, I am never quite sure what to do. Doesn't it seem reasonable to...

Re: TT what\'s the plan from here?

the prior action was a little much, i agree, but given all that i'd say call and muck the turn;

In what ways would you have played this differently?

Re: Potawatomi Update?

Had a 20/40 game and a 10/20 game going the other day (weekday) 8 tables total. Lists were long for the smaller games, not too bad for these two games. Very soft games, featuring one or two...

Re: TT what\'s the plan from here?

At this point in the hand, I'm getting roughtly 20.5-1 to call this bet, assuming the CO doesn't cap it when it gets to him. This call seems correct, assuming the enormous implied odds that I would...

Re: TT what\'s the plan from here?

The CO almost certainly has AK or KQs. He probably would have capped PF with AA. He might have called 3 with QQ, possibly JJ, but would not have called 2 cold on the flop with either of those...

Re: TT what\'s the plan from here?

After being capped PF, is it not a good flop raise to try to get in a heads up situation? Should I have waited for the turn? Folded to the flop bet? or just called down.

I am a little unsure...

Re: TT what\'s the plan from here?

You would not 3bet preflop with TT in this spot?

TT what\'s the plan from here?

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (9 handed)

In the process of making the move to 15/30 from 5/10 so no real reads on any of these players. What's my plan for the rest of this hand?

You may want to post this in the "Pot, No-Limit" forum, as I'm sure you'll get more responses.

Re: Here is one for debate

I don't think that it is necessarily wrong to fold this flop with a bet and a call in front of you with this board. Weak/tight? maybe, but maybe the correct play depending upon your opponents. It...

Re: Fold nut flush draw?

I don't think that you can make the assumption that there is another flush draw out there at this point in the hand. In these games, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone drawing to the str8 with a...

Re: Another preflop question

Getting 7-1 to call the preflop cap, you must call this with AKs. While it is true that you may be dominated, given your reads of the other players, you have the correct odds to draw here.

You...

Re: Thirty-four AAs

I don't know what limit you're playing at, but based on your aggression numbers I'd like to suggest that you may be limping in to too many pots preflop. With a PF aggression number of 0.38, this...

Re: Antes but no Blind - How do I play?

Thank you for the reply.

To answer your initial questions: After everyone antes, there is no 'bringin', it is possible that everyone can check around and see a flop for "free". However, this is...

Antes but no Blind - How do I play?

I play in a home game where we generally play 5 to 7 handed NLHE (amongst other games). The game is played with no blinds, but everyone is forced to ante $1. Average stack size varies between $30-50....

Re: Antes but no Blind, how do I play?

In order to see an unraised flop, everyone must post an ante of $1
