WSOP PLO Event - The Term \"Cooler\"

Top pair with a straight draw looks good heads up, plus all the emotion in that room and the long hours of play.

Re: Hellmuth showing up late

I agree. If you miss the first hour or even first two hours of a 10k tournament it's not a big big deal. But the smaller tournaments you will be crippled. It's a waste of money and ego run amuk.

Yeah she's hot but looks-wise there are better looking female poker players and there's probably at least a dozen better female poker players.

Does anyone else find Cyndy Violette hot in that...

Re: Comps/Casino Hosts

No offense taken, I understand what you're saying. I didn't realize that merger was so imminent. I just didn't like the feeling I got being ignored. Just a quick phone call would've made me feel...

Re: Caesar\'s Indiana riverboat casino

I won't be down there but it's not a bad poker room. They will definitely have 20/40 and NL games spread, they also usually have a PLO game and 30/60 stud. Given that it's Derby weekend, I wouldn't...

All of the advice already posted has been on the mark. I would suggest calling various hotels and talking to casino services for more info. Max Rubin recommends this in his Comp City books.

Re: whats the stupidest thing you gamble on?

I've gambled on rock-paper-scissors fairly regularly with a friend. Another friend likes to make the tie bet and ends up getting 2-1 odds. The three of us have also gambled on PS2 games. I also bet...
