WOW!! I won a DVD recorder!!!

Is this any good? I'm not really technologically savvy, it says it is a Panasonic portable 9" DVD recorder.

How do I claim the prize? Do they just mail it to me?

Thanks!

Re: The Quick Call ???

Well, I think that's one of Guifre's 'coin flips' he's always squawking about, so 'well done' meant congratulations, not necessarily that I had your true odds calculated down to the fifth decimal...

Re: The Quick Call ???

My theory was that a quick call on the turn in your situation always spells a draw of some sort. That's a tough call on the end for you, well done.

Re: ehh, Party 100-200

Raising the flop is certainly better than calling, and I do believe there is a decent chance you have the best hand. I would make it about even money against the SB, and 75% against the donk.

But...

Re: ehh, Party 100-200

I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood your post. I thought instead of a limping donk we now have a posting checker.

Or, maybe I have no clue how to play, which is entirely possible! ...

Re: Bellagio 80/160 4 bet flop then check turn?

I dont think an 8 will 4-bet the flop, but would instead wait for the turn to check-raise once his little "I have a piece of the flop and its enough to check-raise but not 4-bets" move "fails".

Re: ehh, Party 100-200

Well, I figured that most would say 3 bet or fold pre-flop.

Re: ehh, Party 100-200

Big time. Then I would 3-bet preflop and lead on the flop. being able to get the donk's dead $ out of the hand preflop while taking control over the SB has major advantages, IMO.

Re: ehh, Party 100-200

I'm going to be in the vast minority on this one, but I fold to the flop bet. I put the SB on a small to middle pair. The fact that there is another player, as weak as he may be, changes the hand...

Re: DERB river

I'd have to bet-fold this one. My experience with DERB is that he does not like to raise the river with anything less than what you can beat here. If he raises, I think you can safely muck. He...

I'm sorry, got tied up with family stuff, and had to re-spool line on my ice-fishing tip ups.

I will re-schedule.

Let\'s have a 2+2 family 15-30 PP prvt table holiday get-together.

I'm thinking Saturday nite, 8:00 p.m. EST. A nice chance for the family to get together, exchange war stories and good-natured insults, throw some $ around, and generally have a good time.

I...

Why don't you go play in a real game as opposed to annoying some young ladies who just want to have a good time and don't really care about your little technicalities.

I don\'t think a 2+2er should be able to brag until . . .

He/she can hold their own for at least 3 hours in a TSP-sponsored 2+2 6max grudge match.

Sounds like it might be time for one, unfortunately it will give my new username away.
