Re: RESULTS

The more I think about this situation the more I like the bet/3bet line. The question I have here though is this, whats the chances of TP raising with his ace? How confident are we on our read that...

Re: 10/20 Q9s

Good investigation by the way. I would have done the same if I was any good at math, I'll let the math wiz take care of the numbers from here on.

If the pot was HU it really depends who we are...

Re: 10/20 Q9s

This analysis is very indept, you have to remember though, we don't have enough time to actually consider all of this which is why raising or calling is fairly close. I didn't realize there was...

Re: 10/20 Q9s

PreFlop - I like calling here with Q9s. Q9s in a passive game definitely has some +EV.

Flop - Standard

Turn - Raising and calling are fine but I like raising for the sake of being aggressive....

Re: 10/20 Limit HE, 10 seat Hand - could you have gotten away from it?

Would it be wrong to just call the raise on the river instead of 3betting it? Almost everyone who raises on the river has a hand which he think is at least 98% sure to win the showdown. I hate having...

Re: OK, these are the hands that may be costing me an extra 2BBs each

I'll take a shot at this. I not really a stats guy so I'm not positive that my answer is 100% correct.

PreFlop - Standard

Flop - I'll 3bet this flop and see what he does. If you are capped I...

Re: Puke

This is tough. Any reads on them or previous plays which you have seen? If both of them are lags and you have seen them push real hard with just a draws I might have to call this down. At best...

Re: outplaying myself

Flop - Rasing and calling here is about the same I think. I don't see SB leading out here with less than a big A or PP. He raised in the SB after everyone limped meaning he has a monster hand or just...

Re: AJo 15/30 hand

I'd call getting close to 8-1. Though there is a possibility that this flop might get capped I'll still call it. We have 4 outs for a gutshot and a extra 1 for the backdoor flush. Both draws are to...

Re: Blind steal, change of pace.

Any reason why you called the turn? The pot size is really small. The pot would need to be 8BB in order for you to chase your 5 outter(could be less if he has an A). Since the SB is solid he would...

Re: KK slowplay. I\'m going to raise it anyway.

Pre-Flop - standard, shouldn't complain if you just called call too.

Flop - I would raise here. MP1 betting out means he has something which hit the board. The pot is big enough that you want to...

Re: 50/100 AK vs possible straight and flush

how about a river raise since we missed on the turn. i can't put our opponent in a flush draw on the turn since he raised indicating a good hand. he also raised the flop indicating either he had a...

Re: Ace high

The river call is marginal. I like calling the river here because sb could be raising here with many things, draw/made hand/overcards. You're getting enough pot odds to call the turn as well...

Re: AQs. NASTY HAND. PARTY 1/2.

Pre-Flop - Standard

Flop - Fold. I think I'm going to let this hand go after seeing EMP cold call 2 bets. I can easily give him credit for a K(KQ,KJ,KT) beacuse of his position. The flush draw is...

Re: KQo. PARTY 1/2. RIVER.

Pre-Flop - Standard

Flop - Standard. You have to put a read on your opponent starting here cause of the A and the flush draw on the board.

Turn - Standard. The call here should be an indication...

Re: Turn Raise

I think the turn raise is OK but it's -EV against this player. I don't know how he plays but I noticed that most players from 5/10 and 10/20 tends to call pretty loose on the flop, meaning they're...

Re: I Hate This River

This is the perfect way to check/call. This play is probably the most optimal play. With two other players to see the river, you have to double check your QQ and may consider they might not be good...

Re: 15/30 having bad runs, have to express myself

I do know that bad beats come and go, I'm just saying it sucks, I'm sure everyone here understands that. It just sucks when your getting beat with gutshots, any kind of bad beats sucks overall though.

Re: 15/30 having bad runs, have to express myself

Hey, how's it going. I do have previous experience, I just told you the first time I played hold'em I jumped straight to the 15/30 games. My hands been gettin cracked lately so that's why I'm even...

Re: Folding AA for one more in a big pot

The only hands I see him having here would be a QJs for two pair or a set of 22. If he's weak tight then he might have AK. What's the results?

15/30 having bad runs, have to express myself

damn! haha, that's the first thing I'll say cause I'm getting beat left and right. My KK's are barely holding up, lost to a 34s while hitting a gutshot. Set of 22 losses to a runner runner straight....

Re: BK and I disagree

The best play here is to bet. Why would you check the flop when the action gets to you? The pot is pretty big at this point and you might be able to fold overcards which will make it easier for you...

Re: Limping in EP first in w/ AKo and AQo (et all)

I think limping with AKs, AK, AQs, AQ really depends on the table's condition. If the table is aggressive I don't have a problem limping here with any suited AK or AQ but I'm still raising them if...

Re: PP 30, Random Turn Checkraises

Hey, I'm also having a problem about how this hand was played. Say if BB is loose and is willing to call a raise here about 40% of the time, what do you do then if he raises you on the turn? Do you...
