Just curious...if the oppurtunity presents itself to get all in with AK within the first few hands of a STT...you you get you chips in there or wait till later in the tourney?

Re: Stop and Go on the bubble....good or bad?

I wasnt calling him a donk based on his call. It was based off of all of his previous table decisions, and I had to intention of insulting him for making the call...that was the read I had on him...

Re: Stop and Go on the bubble....good or bad?

Figured he needed a stron hand because if he called me and lost it would wipe out more than half of hit stack. I have read raymers wisdom on the stop and go...thought I picked a good time for it but...

Gone to showdowns seems rather LOW!

Towards the end of a 180 SNG last night I was reviewing my Statistics and the one that caught my eye was my went to showdown/pots won at showdown ratio. I just joined stars a couple weeks ago so...

Re: Whats your move....Late in 700k SAT

I agree now. I feel my biggest mistake was not considering the outcome. I had just doubled through the hand before with AK and was on somewhat of a rush. Looking back on it, I was is great...

No, ended up in a coinflip situation, AK vx. 77. I flopped my A but he also flopped a set. Out in 14th.

Re: Whats your move....Late in 700k SAT

I understand now why a fold is quite standard here. I pushed and he turbo called with K2 of hearts and turned a King.

Re: Oh my!! Should I risk my TOURNAMENT LIFE!! so early?!?!?!

I dont think a flush draw always raises on the flop. There were still players to act behind him...he could have wanted their calls in the pot too, while not wanting to get pushed all in to a reraise...

Re: Whats your move....Late in 700k SAT

Avg stack wass in the 80's. I was in 4th position at the time. I dont understand how my raise is weak. Blinds were 2k 4k and I raised to 16k. It had been standard at the time.

Re: A6 UTG, 5.5BB stack blinds going up next hand

I think you have to push...a weak ace may be the best hand you see through the blinds. Once the blinds past through you, you will have what under 2 BB due to the raise. Push it, if you have to suck...

Re: I want to stick my head in the sand with this KK hand.

Sucks he had the Q9, but he was getting a good price on his money by the time action was on him. 1950 in the pot with 450 to call....over 4 to 1. Hate the outcome though.

Re: Poker Stars, Small Star Above Avatar?

Whats the difference between .net and .com? I know party has the same deal and on TV they advertise .net. I dont think there is any real difference but wondering why it is done this way.
