Re: Nightwish, please explain further....
Thanks Night. I understand, however, there are still good 10/20 games to be found, just less of them to choose from.
If you (A) have the bankroll, (B) can mentally handle the larger swings and (C)...

Re: That\'s One (Results)
Sorry. Somehow missed that there were a few callers. Bad flop call on his part. Those are the players in the long run that you will make money off of.

Re: That\'s One (Results)
He got lucky. Not an awful flop call because it was HU, but not a good one either. Once he doesn't hit an Ace or even a 3, he should have been gone if he has any respect for you as a decent player.

Re: Phil Ivey wins one
I agree it's not chump change and I agree that he could have appeared a bit more "happy" upon winning, but when you are playing 4000/8000 games on a somehwat regular basis and probably have several...

Re: Phil Ivey wins one
Anyone notice how unexcited he looked when handed that $500,000 check? That is chump change for him.

Re: Second choice for online play?
I like Paradise and Stars. I usually head to paradise 1st as the ring games a better there. (Both sites IMO are set up better than Party, but as everyone knows the games are much better at Party.)

Re: preflop question - KQs
I'm 3 betting my suited KQ in this spot. This could be a good opportunity to get some information on the unknown player even if you end up losing it.

Re: JJ fold them preflop ?
(The short answer.)
I 3 bet it pre flop. Hope to get it heads up. See the flop and hope it contains either a Jack and/or no A-K-Q. Hope UTG has something like A-K or A-Q.

playing A9-A6 is worse than playing A2-A5. with A2-A5 you have the straight draw plus the flush. you must be willing to fold on the flop if you dont hit or have a reasonable draw
