Re: Can you learn aggression?
A persons personality shows up in their poker play. All players have this dilemma in one manner or another. The better players are able to rise above their instincts and play more consciencely. If...

Re: Datamining? (nc)

Why did this bluff not work?
This is my first hand on a new table. I am the big blind. I did not want someone to start stealing my blinds, so the first hand I decided to defend them. Average chip size for the tourney is around...

Re: Stalling just outside the money? What?
I have played them. I played about 15, and finished in the money probably 3 times, but once it was 9th.
There is a phase when the blinds are more than anybody has, so everyone stalls. I also...

Re: Ten things that Party Poker should do.
Thank you for your encouragement.
I see the viewer chat option now. I never saw that before.
I like your ante idea. That is how the big tournaments are run. I would also like to see a chop...

Re: Ten things that Party Poker should do.
1 - People still use avaters?
I don't understand this. Do you tape over the players on your computer screen?

Re: Stalling just outside the money? What?
Speed tournaments are like slot machines when it gets to the stalling phase. I never play them. My suggestion is to force the players to act withing 10 seconds. I believe stalling is the best...

Ten things that Party Poker should do.
1) Change the Avatar on for seat 7 for men. It looks like a girl. Most men avoid it. I have seen guys get hit-on on this seat. Watch how people sign up, and you will see that this one is usually...

Re: which is the most important book on poker?
I have read them all, most several times.
If I was to talk to a true beginner, I would recommend Ken Warren's books. They are very basic.
Super System reads great. It is fun to read, but...
