Re: January goals post (and December revisited)

January goals, hmmm...

Beat 50NL 6max for $1000, thus building my roll to $2500.
Take a shot at $100NL 6max.
Remove the "weak" from "weak tight" without becoming a calling station or a LAG.
Pay...

Re: Semibluffed and hit non-nut flush, was I spewing?

Correct about the non-aggressor check raise, I should have led the flop because maybe the K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif X /images/graemlins/diamond.gif that beat me in the end would have folded...

Re: A little loco with 72o...

No preflop raises so I'm guessing someone limped in with a 22?

Re: when to move down stakes, bankroll wise

[ QUOTE ]
I think the most important element here is to "reward" yourself, by sending money home when you are a winner.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good idea! Especially since bankroll grows faster than skill.

Re: quads after PFR from SB, standard?

I've heard of "fastplaying is the new slowplaying" but this is rediculous! The board is crippled, is it not? Let the man catch up on the turn, then make a small bet to feign a bluff. Who is going to...

Re: Am I the World\'s Worst Player??

Swallow your pride and search the beginners forum for "bankroll" management strategies. Basically, never play with less than 20 buy-ins at your NL level. That's $2000 at .50/1!!

Image shack is down but it looks like the end of your graph is only a little dip. What stakes?

Re: when to move down stakes, bankroll wise

Make sure you have the skill first. If you made $1000 while playing 25NL, you have the BR for 50NL but you may or may not have the skill for 50NL.

For example, i took 3 shots at 50NL so far this...

Re: Spewing? TT 25NL Stars

You will generally only be called by hands that beat you when you go all in for that amount, so don't risk your whole stack on that, you won't get paid off enough to make it a +EV move

Re: San Diego Cardrooms Rated Part I

Lots of 2+2ers here, true. I'd like to play some live NL for the first time, after doing well on $25NL 6max online. Sometimes people like to get home games going, you just have to keep vigilant.

Re: Am I playing like a huge LAG fish this hand?

Am I playing like a huge LAG fish this hand?

Villain has VPIP of 62%, PFR of 30%, showing very aggressive tendencies postflop after 90 hands. This whole session i was playing tight, maybe even weak-tight 15%VPIP (no cards!) 5%PFR, but that...

Re: Play at Party $25NL 6max

I found this game to be pretty rocky. You must have good table selection or something. I dropped 2k there last winter and havent been back since.

Re: I  the bubble

The whole bubble strategy involves bullying the middle-sized stacks, and not the little stack, right? Because the middle stacks just want to fold until the little stack gets knocked out?
