Re: AJo in BB late in Stars $22 v. UTG minraise from chipleader

Thanks for the comments. I was lost here.

Too worried about my chip count. Too annoyed that I'd been getting 82o and T7o with raises before me.

Part of me wanted to fold... part of me was too...

Re: Mini-raisers!

Min raises are annoying. I got flustered by this one (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=4310527&an=0&page=0#Post4310527).

I think I fold here too as it is the first time...

Re: AJo in BB late in Stars $22 v. UTG minraise from chipleader

Kinda dull I suppose...

Anyway, I think I would have been better off re-raising preflop to about 8000 or so and going from there.

I think the all in on the flop is dumb. He'll probably fold...

AJo in BB late in Stars $22 v. UTG minraise from chipleader

2 tables, 11 players left in $22 Stars 180.

UTG is the chip leader who has only recently moved to the table (3-4 orbits), so not too much of a read. He has raised 3 or 4 times preflop (3X bb) and...

Re: Trout Games Dec 28th

I'm in for heads up this week. Only 2 of us so far, so I figure I got at least a 20% chance of winning /images/graemlins/cool.gif.

Re: How did you choose your career (semi-long)

After giving up on grad school, I was going to get evicted if I didn't get a job. I temped for 6 months, which sucked but kept me from being homeless, until I finally got a fairly generic (i.e., no...

I think he has something, but I also think you've given him good reason to think you are bluffing with the preflop call/flop min-check raise.

Also, if you bet the pot and then fold to a reraise all-in, isn't it a large -EV situation? I think i'd have to reluctantly call, which is why I'd hate to allow the situation to occur.

Re: 5-5 in the small blind against donkish-LAG, good spot to Stop-n-Go?

Given your read and stack size, I think this OK.

If you fold, you are going to have to get all in in the next orbit anyway, and you might not see a better hand.

I would have pushed preflop even...

Re: can i lay this down?

I wouldn't fold for 50 on the river.

I would have bet 100-125 on the flop and then given up if called (check down or check/fold turn/river).
