Re: Correct to slow play? and some others..

Hand 1: don't check this flop. Its obvious to most people what you are trying to do, people who 3 bet and check the flop aren't bluffing. If you were bluffing you would bet the flop! I'd probably...

Re: Heads up vs. 3-4 handed

Interesting stuff.

I see what your saying about HU being a more player dependant game. I have a hard time analyzing other people's play online. I just play with a lot of random players most of...

Re: Foxwoods 20/40 hand

I agree

If you're going to limp with this crap (which I would also do!), you have to 3 bet the flop in order to chase the other loose players.

It seems like your oppenent C/R with a J big...

Heads up vs. 3-4 handed

Does anyone ever feel like they are a great player in a SH 3or4 man game but when it comes to HU their results just aren't as good. I know I do.

For some reason it feels like being able to have 1...

Re: Vegas - 6/2/ - 6/9

hey there,

From my past experience last year the action did seem pretty good at the bellagio during the series...but mainly at limits 80-160 and above. The 30 game at the bellag is a f*%$king...

Re: Fold, call or raise?

Agreed, RAISE THE FLOP. You want to cut down action, give yourself a better chance to win the pot. Fold to the river bet. Obv.

Re: 2 simple pf situations

1) Raise with A10 against typical opps. Call if the game is super agro.

2) auto-fold unless you are trying to put the SB on tilt by showing down such a crap hand. Unless you flop a straight or 2...

I SAY UNGAR!

I just recently watched the movie on the bio of stuey ungar and it made and impression on me. He was probably the best all around card player in the last 30 years and perhaps ever....

Re: Question about Ax suited, Live 10-20 half kill.

Fold, your essentially playing with flush/straight draw and a 2. The ace will probably be no good and you definetly be in a marginal situation post-fold in bad postion. All this = FOLD...

Re: Midlimit floaters

I think most people do this to just to F#*@# with you on the flop or later in the hand. In most situations it seems they almost always call or raise you on the flop, it seems like i rarely see...

Its all about game selection my friend. Game Selection.

Re: Am I crazy??? or What!!!

I had played with the SB on many occasions before and knew he as capable of raising with much less than a K on the flop.

Re: Commerce 20/40: When Good Reads Go Bad

NO kidding, I would play A10s in the SB at the commerce to almost anyones raise in games from 40-80 on down. People play a different kind of poker there.

I might have mucked the turn, if i was...

Re: Blind vs. blind fold

Its not a terrible fold, but you have to really sure about your opponent. I recently played a tight/agr. 40-80 live game where everytime the small blind and i were heads up he would limp and then if...

Re: Do I call this river bet

I agree with the gambler. Solid BB is not betting the river with no pair. If he was going to make a play on you he would have done it on the turn with a raise. He probably has some small pocket...

Re: TT in the CO

I definetly agree with 3 bet pf. You want to limit the field as much as possible...who knows you might get the UTG to fold sometimes. I would bet the flop here to really see where your at. If you...

Re: troubling hand

You're a complete animal for capping/3-betting the turn.

Most people aren't 3-betting the turn without having one pair beaten.

Next time consider laying down your QQ on the turn to the...

Re: Big pot 2.

Depends on game.

If somewhat passive (people will call one bet with 10/5 but not two) I would call the turn raise/bet the river.

If the game is crazy/wild raise the turn and hope to cap! ...

Re: AA with 30+ BB pot

LOL... I'll take you up on that one even give you odds. Most LAG are smart enough to not raise from EP with 89s although there are some people that are just that crazy!

100$ 2-1 that the LAG...
