Re: Flop trips and stop-n-go?

Is the 'fish' tricky enough to raise the flop for a free card?
If so, then I dont really like trying for a c/r on the turn.

I understand that you dont want to push out UTG+1 on the flop with a...

There are a lot of helpful tips in jax's post.
These arent necessarily more important than any of the others, I just wanted to single them out because I for one didnt put as much stock in them as I...

Re: Two pair gone bad

Postflop they were 1.00 and .69 respectively.

Seeing as how universally scary this flop is, I wasnt really worried about a worse hand talking a shot at me.

I'm curious as to your evaluation of...

Two pair gone bad

UTG+2 was fairly loose-passive (40%/5%) and Button was tight passive (18%/2%).

If there was going to be a bet on the flop, it was much more likely to come early, than late. So I didnt want to go...

Re: Party Football Question #5 Debacle (Again)

I emailed them saying I couldnt see the question. They emailed me 26 minutes later telling me the question, and asking me to respond with the answer by email.

I would suggest you do this if you...

Re: TPTK vs Tag 3 bet on flop.

What does the BB think of the button?
What does he think about you?

If he thinks the button would raise you with an 8 or just OCs and that you missed or would fold a decent hand to that kind of...

I probably play it the same way, but I still dont like it.

Continuation bet with second pair. Not crazy about the ace, but maybe he isnt either.

Again, no reason to slow down on...

Why C/R the river? It traps him for another bet, but he's not going to call with a hand that you beat.

Could he bluff 3-bet your river C/R?

I think your hand has showdown value, but not sure...

Re: Overpair to Double Paired Board, What Line?

...grunch...

I slow down here. If you check, you get a free chance to hit a 2 outer, plus if the river comes bet-raise, you can make an easy fold.

There are a few hands that would call the flop...

Re: Raise flop for free card?

Peeling one to close the action is fine on the flop, but there is almost zero chance that you are in the lead now.

Raising may get you a free card, but even with implied odds, I dont think you...

I dont see how the flop call is even close to correct.
