Re: AJo in the CO

Button also knows this pot is big and that it is worth pealing another card with AK. He'll at least call and probably reraise with JJ+ on this good flop for him.

Also, I'm not even sure he always...

Re: AJo in the CO

I think PF is ok given the overlay and action the BB will provide if you hit a good flop.

Fold the flop.

Weak tight nut peddlers only 3-bet the top 4 or 5 hands at most. You might have 3 A outs...

Re: set K\'s and coordinated board on river

You say, “This is a good reason why players like yourself are probably not winning as much as you could be.” Maybe, and I can’t argue with that, it’s the reason I’m here, as is maybe are most...

Re: .50/1$ limit on party

You need to read and understand Small Stakes Hold’em by Ed Miller. This book addresses how to beat loose games.

Please note that games with loose passive players are the easiest games to beat,...

The only question is whether or not you should call a check/raise. I think you do need to call a raise because could be bluffing (rare) or have made 2-pair with AK, AJ, AT, Ax. ...

Re: set K\'s and coordinated board on river

If he has a Q for the straight, sometime he'll lead the river and sometimes he'll check/raise. Once he checks, it's statistically more likely he doesn’t have it. So it’s a bet on the river.

The...

it would be bad to give a free card.

Not true. In this tiny pot it takes roughly 10 outs to have an equity worth 1 BB.

Re: Crytpos

Tight tight players, good bonuses.

I only play at Pokerplex for the $50/300 delt (not raked) hands. I suffer throught it every month and am way ahead because of these bonuses. But, I always look...

Re: How do you handle the LAG tards?

I'd bet the turn and try for the free showdown like you did. If you are ahead, and you are a very good percentage of the time against this guy, it would be bad to give a free card. It's just too bad...

FYI, there are sites out there with good bonuses and loose players. I'd checkout:

Action Poker Network
Boss Media Network
iPoker Network

None of these networks are compatable with...

Re: KK takes heat

I called the river bet. Villain flips up J8 offsuit for the flopped 2-pair. He made a bad PF call, bad flop lead allowing me to blow away two loose callers and a bad attempt at a turn check/raise. Oh...

Re: should I raise this river bet?

Raise for 2 reasons:

1. The presense of limper #2 give you an overlay, so you don't need to be right as often.
2. He doesn't have a 4 that often, and when he does, he'd checkraise you a fair...

Fold to the turn raise. You have 2 clean outs and no other draws.

You've shown plenty of aggression in this hand, and yet he still raises you on a big street. I find it hard to believe he's now...
